the fenders are the main flaw of most attempt I saw on these, as I never did this period myself, I don t know how you did it, but, it s solved here, it looks awesome, the wheels choice is the cherry on the sundae, excellent fire truck! |

@Oran: Thanks a lot, well, 50 or 59 doesn't matter, one month sooner or later neither, it's great anyway. Concerning the chrome I don't know exactly. I guess the Corvette was the first car with custom chrome (the rims, of course).

Oh boy! I am comment 50, well I think so, well even if I am not, Marcus Paul you have done it again. It only took me a month to comment. A lot of great comments Marcus. I was wondering, because I like CHROME so much, when did you buy your first chrome piece that did not come from a Lego set? |

Can't believe I missed this! Sorry about that. It's beautiful! Perhaps one of the most beautiful 'Town' creations you've built so far (and therefore certainly amongst the best on MOCpages). A really unusual and excellent MOC. 5 stars |

Oh man, love watching the pics of your Fire Truck again and again. It's so cool :) Btw, ordered the 2nd Grand Emporium set now ;) Collected over thousand Vip points so i have to pay only 99,99 Euros for it. Thanks again, buddy! Wow, that sounds cool. I've just purchased the Fire Brigade (Puzzle-Strasse via Amazon, 128,- which is not bad, I suppose).

Hey, still some traffic here, didn't expect that! @Joey: Thanks a lot! @Joonmin: Glad you like it! @Angka: Glad to hear that, mate! @Steffen: Many thanks! Well, Lego Fire Museum has built some great (and historically much more exact) vintage fire engines. @Henrik: Many thanks! Well, it's quite narrow to fit nicely into its garage, but I can't see anything chibi about it. (Anyway you remind me of an aspect concerning the length-to-width ratio of some of your own cars. Perhaps I'll come back to that later ...) |

Wow, what's going on here? I am quite overwhelmed by this, guys! @Vinny: Thanks a lot! @Senator: Thanks! It was quite a metamorphosis ... ;-) @Starscream: Glad you like it, thank you! @David: Many thanks, glad to hear this! @Mitchell: Thanks! @Joe: Thanks mate! It took quite a long time to turn this into my own design ... ;-) @Elk: Many thanks, glad you like it! @David: Thanks a lot. Yeah, the figs have a lot of fun with it. Hopefully they don't start another fire just to drive around the town at high speed ... ;-) @Nils: Many thanks buddy, glad to hear that! Concerning the mugs, I have probably halved the German market ... ;-) @Alex: Thanks a lot, glad to hear this from you! @Nick: Thanks a lot :-) @Loek: Thanks a lot, there will probably be some more vintage cars! @Sjoerd: Many thanks! @Gabor: Well, that's just enough to be flattered. Thanks pal! @Sven: Thanks a lot for your kind words, my friend, I had to read this to Alex (my girlfriend) since I am so proud of it. Believe me, I am deeply affected! @El Barto: Thanks a lot! @Dean: Many thanks, glad to hear this! In fact the hose is taken more or less from the original model ... Yeah, sometimes it's the chrome ... (there's one custom chromed part, but I won't tell ;-). @Marcel: Thanks a lot, pal! @Chris: Many thanks Z, glad to hear that! You're welcome, but be prepared to reconstruct the whole thing, since this engine is a tad longer than the original. At least you can't close the back gate ... I am so glad it's there! @Alex: Many thanks! I like the original engine very much, but it didn't quite fit within the other vintage cars ... @Joshua: Thanks a lot! Oh Marcus, this is such a beautiful Firetruck. It's again a masterpiece from your hands. All this little details, the steering wheel, the chromed signal bell, the lights and the body with the hoses are really nice. I love the whole model my friend. In my eyes it's one of the best Vintage Fire Trucks i've ever seen here. This would be a really cool addition to my collection ;) Great job bud!! I'm really excited. |
