Ok, so I've been working on this one for about - I don't remember how long now. But here it is finally, my rendition of Transformers Armada: OPTIMUS PRIME! Optimus Prime here can form vehicle mode, Robot mode with Trailer Base Mode and his Super Mode! Optimus' signature mini-con is also included here, who is Sparkplug.
About this creation

So here we have Optimus in vehicle mode. Yes, he has visible hand syndrome, but even the actual toy had that to an extent. They were only hidden cause they were mis-colored, as his in show model had White hands, while the toy had Blue ones.

Side view of Vehicle mode. I'm really proud of how I "painted" the sides of the Trailer. now only if LDD had large Autobot logos I could have stuck on the sides XD - and all the wheels do touch the ground, but it is a close call for the 2 front wheels.

Side view of Sparkplug. Sparkplug's back wheels sadly don't touch ground, but it's the best I could do for now. I'm going to eventually try and improve Sparkplug's design to fix this.

Top view of Prime & Sparkplug. Just...Beautiful...

Robot modes! Also Prime's trailer in Base/Fort mode. Optimus' head is BASED OFF of Boyzwiththemosttoys head, but has been heavily modified to better suit this design.

Side view of Prime & Sparkplug. I'd say these modes ended up being the strongest.

Back view. Primes legs can "split" to the sides a little bit, but their articulation is more designed for the Super Mode.

Close up of Sparkplug. He even has tiny little hands!

Back view of Sparkplug.

The Trailer in base mode. Sadly unlike the toy, Sparkplug cannot fit into the car-bays on the side. Hence again why I want to eventually improve Sparkplug's design.

The little gun-turret on the side raised up - ready to fire! (Doesn't actually fire anything)

Ready to Power-link!

Optimus Prime! Super Mode!

Side view of Super Mode Optimus.

Back view of Super Mode Optimus. I forgot to get a picture of this, but the mini-gun attached to the trailer can extend just like the toy's does.

Sparkplug! Power-link! Weapon activate!

And lastly, Super Mode Optimus holding his weapon - ready to shoot down the Decepticons!
Well, hope you liked this long-awaited creation of mine! This set will be expanded upon, as I plan on eventually adding:
Jetfire, who will convert from Jet, to Robot and Super Mode legs for Optimus
Overload, who will convert from Mini-con Rollout & Trailer, to Robot mode, and Artilliary Cannons for Super Mode Optimus
Perceptor, who will convert from the 3 mini-con vehicles, to their robot modes and then combine into Perceptor!
Enjoy!

Armada was the first TF series I watched from start to finish and armada prime was one of the first figures I ever got. You've done him justice, great job!
Thanks! Glad you like it! |

I was never a fan of the supermode in this series but you did a great job with it in virtual bricks!
Thanks! Something else I realize I forgot to do, the trailer hitch on Optimus' arm also folds down against the arm...rats! |
