MIT Round 3: Garett Smith vs Chris Stone
Mash it up! From Spastle to Aquastlenauts to Black Fantastle, builders have been combining themes to come up with some mind blowing creations for years and now it's your turn. Take two (or more) unrelated themes and combine them together to create one, over the top mega theme. They do not need to be existing LEGO themes, so let your imagination go wild!
About this creation
Hello everyone! This is my third creation into the 2012 MIT Also this is the link to my worthy opponent
This one was really hard for me to come up with an idea. I had to really put on my thinking cap and start the building process right away. The two themes that I decided to mix up were: Science fiction and Fantasy. Its a robotic werewolf. I tried to use as many robotic looking things in the model as possible but also keeping in mind the animal factor of the build. I hope you have enjoyed the MOC.
Till next time-Garett Smith

Very good! I like the face especially!

That's great. The snout and eyes especially. And who would have thought it, sci-fi + fantasy = zoids.

A wonderful display of creative parts usage: arms on the head, shovels on the legs etc. The overall shape of this beast loooks great, with its spiny back and tail to help balance it but I think that the best bit is the brilliantly built head, with its sinister red eyes. Excellent work!

It would appear that your opponent was too intimidated by your building prowess and decided to let you have a free pass to the next round. A fine build, none the less; welcome to the Final Four!~H
