Modena LCAC
The Modena is a class of air-cushioned landing craft designed int he Tongorian Union. It is designed to sealift landing assault units (such as marines or any vehicle) from one of the Lok-class amphibious assault ships. It can carry one MBT or 4 smaller vehicles like the Boya AFV along with the marines on board.
About this creation
First a 360 view.

As these vehicles are easy targets, it has a CIWS on its right side. Its radar is right behind it.

Also, for even better protection it is equipped with a larger variant of the Arcade 2 APS on both sides.

This is the right diesel engine room, the left one is pretty much the same. The landing craft is lifted by 2 12,000hp engines and another 2 is used for propulsion.

On the front there’s a 20mm HMG. The armore plates can resist up to 20mm rounds.

This creation is pretty old, I found it again, made some changes and uploaded it. Well, thanks for viewing!

I do believe this may be the best hovercraft ever built in LDD, its awesomeness is just that incredible. It's good to see you finally released it, and with improvements to boot. :D

Quoting John Stahlman Nice landing craft! I really like the air defense system! It would really look great with a Type-57 onboard (hint, hint)! Yes, I wanna see more of the Type-57!!!
John, you just need to wait a little more, but only a little bit. Be patient. Btw since this is LDD and the Type is real it will hardly happen.

Very respectable! I really like the way the weight is equally distributed on both sides of the cargo deck. You have taken a definite stand on the age old argument about whether to put defensive weapons on your cargo platform or to use the space to carry more cargo. Putting the missiles on these platforms allows you to use them in small numbers without as much “Fleet Level Over-watch”. It’s a good call for a nation that wants to keep it’s options open. Looks just like the real deal! Reach the beach!
