About this creation

Shown are two versions (the lighter green is the one included in the LDD file).

Differences between each other first:

The lighter green model (for ease of description I'll call "the taller one") came first. This was an attempt to retro-engineer the design by Evan Constantine, and changed very little other than a couple of minor cosmetic additions (such as the number places front and rear, the tail "lights" and adding a psuedo-axel underneath.

One addition however I did add which was not in the original and changed the shape dramatically, was the addition of a trapezoidal plate under the cockpit at the front.

The Second, darker green design (the shorter one) came second. It is partly some new ideas I had while creating the first, and partly resulting from feedback.

The colour was changed to more of a US Army green, I removed the extra plates, allowing the cockpit to sit on the chasis, giving it a much lower stance. The circular plate on top of the cockpit was replaced by a 1x2 plate with one stud, thus allowing the gun to swivel, I filled in the studs behind with a 1x2 grill plate.

Finally, I replaced the cockpit window with a frame piece, and added some black 1x1 "cheese wedges" to give the impression of a cockpit, and to give it a slightly more "roll cage" feel, closer to an actual jeep.

Both designs lack the "spare" in the well at the back. I haven't the foggiest notion how Evan achieved this and I'm struggling to replicate it in LDD. Suggestions welcome.

Thanks for making this variant! Oh, and the spare tire is held in place by pushing the round plates in the center, in between the four studs on the back-deck. Hope that helps!
