O.k. this should really be the last WIP on that ship - hopefully...

Loading the file for me took a while, and moving large sections was a pain because it did not like slight movements. And I have not created instructions. I do not want to think about how long that will take! But we need to stop having this conversation so you can get back to work and finish this! Yaergh! ;-)
:-) trust me - i work on it...

I forgot to mention the over 8000 parts earlier. Is your computer/program slowing down yet? I know that mine did when I was working on my GSV, so I had to create separate LDD files for each section, then combine them at the end (which was a pain, it moved so slow...).
not really... I have a new pc with 8GB RAM / i5-3450 CPU. only calculating the instructions take a wile ;-) - on state about 7000 parts it tooks over 4 hours...and i think that will also be the biggest problem on this project - i got no idea how to do the instructions...Everybody who work with LDD knows what i mean - the plans are not really good... Maybe i dismantel it in LDD backwards and make pics -but i don't know... ;-)!!! |

I've never seen a ship built from LEGO with this many angles! It's amazing, and if you build this for real, I'm sure it'll raise the bar for the other ship builders! I presume when you build it for real you'll stick to the black color scheme?
Thanks for the kind words ! and yes i will built this in black, therefore i almost have the parts... Maybe it would look better in gray or even tan, but i like black ships (maybe caused by the oldschool Blacktron ;-) ) |

This is epic! I have been following this project, and I am amazed at how this is coming together! Seeing this in real bricks will be awesome! Aside from a few certain mechs on the site, this has to be one of my favorite builds.
I'm glad you like it and follow the story ;-) |

This is an epic build. I totally admire your skill and patience in carrying out this project. The angles you've engineered on the intakes are very impressive.
Thank you David ;-) Yeah - i think this is really the biggest project i've done till now. And it's still going on... The difficult angles on this ship was the main reason to do that ;-)! I found some good plans on the web to calculate some of them right (i think...) maybe i show some of them when i'm finished :-) |

It's going to cost you but it will be worth it!
