The rocks... they're tilted... *gasp* Me being a huge fan of rockwork (and a Christian), you are one of the builders I hold in the highest esteem on MOCpages. Great work, just stunning. |

Nice cliff-side castle, the trees and shrubbery really give this a very natural look. Cool portcullis, too. - Huss Q. |

Hey, Mark. I've been by several times since I commented to look at this masterpiece. I still think that this may be my favorite work by you. I would like to feature this in the future on my Pick of the Week on my page. Would I have your permission to do that?
Sure! Feel free to do that! So glad you like it! :) |

Haha, just a couple of days ago I was looking at the first version of this on Flickr thinking how great this was, It’s funny how just a couple of days later you made a newer and much more impressive version. :) Anyway... Mark, this is incredible. The cliffside is huge, and to top it off, you've made it perfectly. Phenomenal job! |

Great upgrade. This is an amazing moc. I love the angle of the castle; too many are simple squares. The rockwork far exceeds mine but that's not saying much as I use mountain pieces lol. Nice colors for the waterfall area. |

Impressive!! The landscaping is all very convincing, especially that angled corner. I like how you didn't over-texture/embellish the castle. Those stretches of smooth stone wall contrast with the foliage quite well. Good luck in the contest! |

I like the castle, with its triangualr courtyard but the thing that stands out to me is the wonderful work on the trees and cliffs and water. I like the diagonal panels on either side of the cliff, which add some extra, subtle angles. The waterfall works very well, with the lines in the bricks giving the direction of the flow. The only downside of the waterfall is that I would suspect that it is also the sewer for the castle! :) The random bricks and colour grading in the sea are very well done indeed. I think that you've achieved just the right texture here. Falworth Keep is up on that big, grey cliff: what is underneath it in the dungeons? |

This is wonderful, Mark. This may be my favorite work by you yet. I'm not normally a fan of spilling bricks to create water. But you have a knack for the technique. I like the separation of the colors, giving a very convincing illusion of water. And the bricks creates a certain "choppiness" to the water that works well. The rock work is some of the best I have seen, which is a conclusion that I reached when I saw that you used the dark bley pieces near the bottom to give the illusion of wet rock from the waves crashing against it. Brilliant touch. Your castle is, as always, fantastic. And, what I consider you specialty, the greenery is masterful. Very well done. |
