This is my entry for the L13 Pimp My Ride contest on BrickPirate.Net.

For the base model, I decided to challenge myself on a real legend, the Lego Classic Town Car 1980. This model is visible through the Idea Catalogue 800 of 1980.

And a small story to illustrate the change...

A mother decided to offer her old Classic Town Car 1980 to her beloved son for his 21th birthday.

Well, what to say. If you receive such a piece of junk you would probably cry as well or bang your head on the car.

Happily there is a team of motivated mechs who like taking challenges. And they accepted to try something.

Work has started ... and lot of work there is.

The result is quite impressive.

And all actors of this mini-scenario: the mother, the Classic Town Car 1980, the dream team including Guido, the Bathcar, the son and his girlfriend.

I decided to enter that contest just for the fun as I am lightyears away from my zone of confidence. I had fun and I also decided to make the LDD model ... using different colors.
