I'm a huge fan of The Legend of Zelda series of video games. Here is my homage to the Hero of Time : Link.
Just to clarify, this MOC is based loosely on the idea of Kakariko Village.
Our hero, the boy clad in green, returns to Kakariko village as a fully armed Hylian knight.
Here we see the ever-present Cucco's. I went with the imagery the game provided rather than other chickens I've seen.
Bats in the belfry! That's a Keese!
I also made a Water Temple themed MOC. For this one I took inspiration from both Ocarina of Time and Twilight Princess.
Our hero stands in a large, water-filled cavern. A proud Zora warrior swims nearby while a peaceful hammerhead shark looms above. Link fires his newly acquired Longshot - an upgraded variation of the classic Hookshot - into a rock spire. He must locate the hidden chest that contains a Small Key in order to gain access to the room behind the locked door at the top of the spiral staircase.
Our hero, Link, adorned in Zora Armor - an amalgamation of the Zora Tunic from Ocarina of Time and the Zora Armor from Twilight Princess.
A Zora Warrior : based on the Zoras from Twilight Princess. I'm very proud of how he turned out.
DA DA DA DAAAAAAAAA!!!!! You found a small key! Use it to open locked doors. You may use it only in this dungeon.
Quoting Beardless Dwarf
Nice job! Legend of Zelda is my favorite franchise too! I like how you made his boots using the short legs.
Thanks! I didn't like how green pants or brown pants looked when I first made him and that idea came to me. Check out my Flexible Fig Contest 2 entry http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/345700
