In January of this year I entered a contest and my category was Batman or something. I ordered parts, built this creation, had all the pictures taken… then just sort of forgot about it. Now about ten months later I noticed I need to post something for you guys so I proverbially pulled this off the shelf and dusted it off. So I present to you the MOC that never was: The Joker’s Escape!
About this creation
(text underneath pictures)

Early morning still during the gray of the dawn, Commissioner Gordon awaits atop the police building shining the Bat-signal.

In a flash Batman suddenly appears. “You called?” He says smugly.

“Yes Batman. I’m afraid there’s some pretty bad news.” Jim said nervously, “…The Joker has escaped from Arkham Asylum.”

Batman groaned inwardly and said “Fine, I’ll head over there.”
Jim sighed in relief, “Thanks Batman, we owe you one.”
“I’ll put it on your bill.”

Jim chuckled and when he opened his eyes, Batman was gone.
Later, at Arkham Asylum.

Batman entered the asylum and found a bright-orange haired doctor waiting for him, he introduced himself as Dr, Hoo, though he didn’t look Asian.

“I’m here to see the Joker’s cell.” Batman said in his gruff-scary voice.
“Welcome to Arkham, we’ve been expecting you. Would you like the tour?

“Um no, I’m just here to see the Joker’s cell-”

“Right here is our wreck room, I’ll introduce you to all our patients.”
“I only need to see the Joker’s-”

“This here’s Youree Faseeo, Italian, doesn’t speak a word of English. Kris Fipsen, used to be a cop but snapped after a mounted patrol incident and has been stripping ever since. Oh great, Billy can you deal with this? Thanks. And Heeth Floor, a boat thief that would steal a yacht take it out to sea then riddle it with bullets and go down with the ship.

“And there is Marc Qelzo, artist that checked himself in, said he wanted to capture real life.

“Mat Dayvid, not much is known about him, mostly keeps to himself, at least that’s what his neighbors said after he murdered his wife with a foam noodle.

“Hawnz Dindow taking his hourly prescripton, good boy, he used to run a gang called the Skool of Heart Nox. Until they were caught vandalizing the men’s bathroom at a Phillips 66.

“Oh, and last but not least, Diniss Pryse, went insane while writing a superhero comic, thought he had super strength and pummeled his Chihuahua to death.”

“...Really I just came to see the Joker’s cell.” Batman said after an awkward pause.

The Doctor apologized and continued talking, “It's over this way. Now the Joker had been going excellently on his progress through our ‘12 steps to sanity program’ he had hit a bit of a snag on step 5 “Remove all traces of your criminally insane past life” and that included going to have reconstructive surgery on his face to remove the pale skin and red lips, we would have like to get rid of his horrendous smile but we do have a budget here. Anyway he didn’t take to lightly to having his face changed but after a week or to he settled down.”

“Here we are.” The Doctor said, “Mr. Joker’s suite. Hehehe.”
“Who’s the cop?” Batman asked

“I’m Larry, Larry Brons. Mr. Gordon sent me over to find some clues.”

“Great,” Batman said. He turned to The Doctor, “How often was the Joker let out of here?”

“Well he really only slept in here, we wanted to help him with interacting with people on a regular basis. But whenever we put him in for the night we had him in a straitjacket so he couldn’t do anything but sleep.”

“How hard is it to get out of one?”
“It’s impossible.”
“Could he have bribed one of the guards?”

“I don’t think so, all our guards are deaf-mute.”

“…Really?” Batman asked.
Dr. Hoo nodded.

“…Okaaay. So however he escaped, he did it from in this room, without using his hands. What about this bed?
“It’s bolted down.”

“Hmm,” said Batman as he lifted the bed with ease.

“How did you do that?!” The Doctor asked.

“Easy,” said Batman, “It wasn’t bolted.”
“But-”

“He must’ve had something in his mouth to unscrew it, maybe a plastic fork or something.”
Larry the cop came over, “Incredible.”

Batman ignored him and continued, “What surprises me is how he could’ve made a hole like this without anybody noticing.”

“You know,” said The Doctor, “I remember something about the nurses signing to me about loud banging sounds in the night but whenever they went to go check the patients, it stopped.”

“So the Joker waited,” said Batman, “Till the perfect time…

“Unscrewed the bolts of the bed with a plastic fork with his mouth!

“Was able to get underneath his bed without his arms, and…”

“And what?!” Said Larry, “broke through the padded floor and cement with his head!?”

“Maybe,” Batman said, “I don’t know how he did it. I just know that I have to find him.”

“Speaking of which,” Batman continued as he pulled out a gun, “I have to go down this hole.”

He descended down into a sort of cave system thinking to himself how lucky he was to be away from those weirdos.

As he hit the floor he felt something odd inside, and it wasn’t just McDonalds for breakfast. Call it woman’s intuition if you like but Batman knew that something was up, or he should say, down.

He looked around the cave,

And noticed droplets of blood on the ground.

He figured the Joker must have either cut himself on the fall, or tried cutting his straitjacket and cut himself while doing so.

Batman then heard a sort of chirping sound from up above. He looked up and saw bats.

But more than that, he recognized these bats. These were HIS bats.

And then, in an instant, Batman knew that the Joker was somewhere in his Batcave.
To Be Continued
(not really)
Now I think I know why I put this off so long, it took me all day to try and figure out what order I wanted all these pics in, editing them (barely), and writing all this stuff, plus waiting like half an hour for the pics to upload (slow ‘puter).
Anyway that was my first real story MOC. Hope you liked it and if you want I have another sort of story MOC that I never finished, it was the Time machine MOC I did for the MOCathalon this year.

And I had a whole long story thing with it, realized I didn’t have time to finish taking pictures and had to redo the story idea, so now all I have is about half a story for that with no end, but if you still want to see THAT, let me know.
Thanks! Quad out.

Whats up with your icon? Do you change your head every day now?
Yeah, it's something I'm doing in eXtreme TFOLs and TFOL Private Club. At the end of the month I'm going to post all of them together in a MOC. |

I'm glad you all enjoyed it, really I had a lot of fun putting in more humor than building techniques.

I really would like to see this finished!...
I'm afraid that I really didn't have anything planned for a second part of this, but I guess anything is possible. Haha maybe in another year. LOL |
