Mr C: ....And you are certain the coding is different?
Dr A: Without a doubt. I've checked every line myself personally. This thing is different.
Mr C: But how?
Dr A: How is it different? or how did it become different?
Mr C: I... Both I guess?!
Dr B: It shows definite signs of fractal repetition in the higher reasoning aspect.
Mr C: In English please Doc, some of us didn't go to MIT.
Dr A: He's referring to a complex mathematical structure that is producing highly unpredictable, even chaotic, results to experimental data.
Mr C: And what is that doing to the unit?
Dr B: So far it is giving the unit a much more flexible approach to tactical thinking. This thing can actually imagine!
Dr A: My colleague exaggerates, but it has demonstrated some advance problem solving capacity. Well beyond that demonstrated by the other series 2 units.
Mr C: But how did this happen? Who created the code.
Dr A: That is where we have a puzzle. His browser history is showing data which pre-dates the system itself.
Mr C: And...
Dr B: This data indicates that the unit is not terrestrial in origin, possibly not even from this reality!
Dr B: We initially disregarded the Zero data as being associated with the unit's capacity to imagine. That it had simply dreamed it was the product of science originating in another universe.
Mr C: But you were adamant it couldn't imagine?
Dr A: True, and I still believe it's simply corrupted files.
Dr B: The Zero data states that this unit has fought other aliens, and creatures that I can only describe as... Monsters. It even believes it has encountered other Zero units.
Mr C: Is it safe? It sounds like it is delusional to me!?
Dr B: I would advocate further testing to be certain, but so far. Unit Zero is our best weapon to bring down the alien threat.
Dr A: I have to concur. The evidence so far does not indicate the rouge data is causing any impairment of function. Quite the reverse, coupled with the chaotic algorithms, this this is practically a tactical genius.
Significant changes from the other CyberAgent 2.0 series:
- Head is slightly redesigned and uses a variation on the Black/Gold head rather than the standard head used by the others.
- Weapons are new.
- Additional studs added to each joint, or replaced with a round brick, thus extending the length of each limb and adding to the overall height. (Actually I was surprised that it now makes it almost as tall as the original CyberAgent Samurai).
- Chest armour altered (I'm not sure I don't actually prefer the older design).
- Shoulders are standard design from the Blue, Red, White and Green designs.
- I've also extended the thigh guards by about a stud width.
How this happened is not yet established...
What is CyberAgentZero?
He is a nexus entity. His core programming is actually the same core programme that ALL CyberAgentZero units possess across dozens of realities.
He is also the prototype test bed for new advancements in the CyberAgent technology. If you want a unit with the smarts to operate a new weapon, he's the best one to give it to.
Where did he come from?
His new body was constructed on the earth of the CyberAgent2.0 universe. His programme appears to have come from elsewhere, how, when and why no one knows.
Is he a threat?
To the other CyberAgents? Perhaps. His status as a nexus entity has led him to go insane in other time lines.
Go Zero! My favorite! Even that "copycat" alien thing does not stand a chance! Just send Zero out there to kill everything. The other CyberAgents can sit back at home base and play poker. Or whatever...
