Nice mantis! and what kind of paper are you using as a back drop? Is it just some black or grey construction paper?

Actually, the way the pictures were taken makes it look tall, but it's actually scale with my other vehicles.

I agree with the people that say Halo 4 is an epic game. Your build of the Mantis is excellent. But in the Game, I hate the mantis, the scorpian is just to good to just replace in multiplayer. I hate microsoft for doing that. but anyways, great build and i hope to continue seeing amazing Halo stuff form you.

That's an excellent representation of the Mantis, especialy the legs. It's a really well designed Moc. I was inspired by this machine to build a mech, however I only uploaded one picture of it onto my page.

Alas, no. I wasn't trying to make room for a minifig when I started working on it. Plus, with the way the interior is design, it would be really hard to fit a fig : And besides, In my mind, being able to fit a fig inside is cool, but what's the point if you can't see it?

Nice work! As good as Nick Jensen did on his version of the Mantis, I think this may top it (nothing against him. He still did a stunning job). Just curious, does this fit a minifig? It's not much of a hardsuit without a minifig inside. :P

Another spectacular Mantis to add to MOCpages. Seeing how we got another great rendition of the Mantis from Nick Jensen a few weeks back, it is clear this will be a popular vehicle to model. I cannot help but wonder how long until we will get to see a Duplo Mantis on Phipson's, "Mi Awsum Halo Page!"

Never played Halo, but that doesn't mean I can't spot an excellent mech. The whole armada is pretty great, too.

It's about time they added a Mech into Halo. Sure, there was the CYCLOPS in Halo Wars, but that doesn't count. Anyway, very well done on this, look brilliant!
