Hello everyone! this is my first moc. Its called the M-001 "black snake" Its suposed to be a revolutionary air-to-spacecraft developed by the newly re-formed Eastern Bloc in the near future.

About this creation

A near-future (2101) air-to-space interceptor/scout. Commissioned by the Russian Air and Space Defense Council and built by legendary aircraft designers Russian Aircraft Corporation (MIG) In response to the allies' rapid advances in the fields of particle acceleration and ionic repulsors. The designers at MIG choose not to incorporate hardy any of the standard technologies of the day, the standard 30mm autocannons were replaced with twin coil guns, able to fire off more than 150 tungston flechettes per second, these are used mainly in dogfights and strafing, and are not used often to conserve ammo. the ships main weapons are the tesla cannon and torpedo launcer nestled under the hull. While the allies continued with multi-function ionic/jet engines and standard lift plains and the like, the soviets went in a radical new direction. The ship is powered by a hybrid tesla/nuclear reactor, and instead of relying on lifting surfaces to get airborn, the ship remains aloft and balanced due to 4 electro-magnetic repulsors underneath. and nuclear rad engines can propel the ship up to mach 10 in atmopshere. This is also the first aircraft to competantly operate both in and out of atmopshere, and needs no boosters to break the planets gravety well, instead the pilot lets the reactor charge build up to a near dangerous level, and lets it out in a giant pulse, the ship is, in fact, creating a nuclear explosion and riding the shock wave out to space. The ship reactors are powered by Diatomium, a new element that was discovered in a meteor so the deadly fall out from the ships engines dissipates within minutes. But the ship can be powered by a plutonium core as well, and in military engagements over enemy territory this is common, as the simple act of flying over the area leaves a tremendous trail of destruction. The ship also has the ability to carry 2 neutron bombs for clearing out cities without much structural damage.
