Prakith, two days after the events in Bloodlines 14: Ghosts of the Father .

Darth Bayla stood beside Darth Jayzaa and surveyed the ground before the Sith Temple.

Darth Jayzaa: "The Jedi are close. Within a few moments they will be at our door."

Darth Bayla: "Let them come. It will all go as Rovaniss has planned."

Darth Jayzaa: "Rovaniss? Or Plaito?"

The Zabrack Sith grinned as Darth Bayla turned to march away.

Suddenly, a group of Jedi appeared on the horizon.

Cossy Anaron: "Group two, take the left flank. Group one, fall in behind me!"

Rade Danar: "Master Look! Sith!"

Cossy Anaron: "I see them Rade. Lets see how hospitable they are."

A thin smile touched Bayla's lips as she looked out on the Jedi.

Darth Bayla: "Tell Darth Wraith that he may begin to fire."

Cossy and Rade barely managed to dive behind the cover of the rocks as a surge of blaster fire peppered the ground around them.

Rade Danar: "Turrets on the roof! We won't be able to break through this!"

Cossy Anaron: "We might not be able to. But I know who can!"

Cossy Anaron: "Master Fentten! We need some assisstance down here!"

Warik Fentten: "Understood Cossy! I'm on my way!"

Alex Stones: "Master, don't you think this is a bit dangerous... Even for us?"

Warik Fentten: "Dangerous? Why?"

Alex Stones: "It's a long way down."

Warik smiled and slapped his friend on the back.

Warik Fentten: "Well we'll never know until we try. I'll see you inside."

The Muun Jedi Master smiled as he took a step forward and plummeted from the mountainside.

Darth Wraith smiled manicly as he fired bolt after bolt down upon the cowering Jedi below.

Darth Wraith: "Die, die, die!!"

Warik Fentten: "Cool your turret Sith. I am the real danger."

Darth Wraith: "Fentten!"

Warik Fentten: "Stand down Wraith. You need not be a slave to battle any longer."

Darth Wraith: "But the screams of battle are so intoxicating."

Wraith lunged at the Muun who quickly pulled his blade up in a defiant parry.

They spun around, trading blow after blow as they dueled across the rooftop.

Wraith unleashed a bolt of lightning but Fentten easily knocked it aside.

Warik Fentten: "Your power is weak Wraith. Surrender."

Darth Wraith: "Never! You will die and I will feast on your flesh!"

Wraith charged forwards but Warik swiftly punched him in the jaw, knocking him onto his back.

However, as Wraith fell he kicked Warik's legs out from under him. As Wraith hit the floor he rolled to his feet and held his lightsaber over Warik's throat.

Darth Wraith: "Goodbye, Jedi!"

Warik Fentten: "Not today!"

The Muun reached out with the Force and used it to throw Wraith towards the edge of the roof.

He lunged forwards and grabbed the turret, squeezing the trigger and sending a flurry of blaster bolts into Wraith's chest, killing the Sith Lord.

Cossy looked at the body of Darth Wraith as it tumbled from the rooftops. He glanced up and nodded at Warik as Jedi Knight Oylo Rubble approached. She sighed and turned away from the body.

Oylo Rubble: "So what haapens now?"

The three Jedi turned and looked at the unguarded doorway to the Temple.

Rade Danar: "We go into the abyss."
