"24 October 2012: The radio and TV were filled with reports about the impending attack on the community of Leith. Home to one of the United Kingdom's largest water treatment facilities, it was (in hindsight) an obvious target for the greedy and ruthless alien invaders.
I packed a few things quickly and made for the car. Me and about 1,000 others. The motorway was gridlocked.
We crawled out of town, I frequently cursed that it would be faster to walk. I was not surprised to spy several, desperate souls who were attempting just that. Laden with backpacks and shopping bags filled with useless belongings, food and comforts, trudging down the hard shoulder on the way to the BeWise services.
Without warning the air seemed to flicker, like an old film being started up on a large projector screen. From the twitching air manifested a horror from my worst nightmares. A gigantic white worm. It seemed built from porcelain and was covered in red spines and what appeared to be large amber eyes. It was one of the alien's war machines.
Those of us who could react in time abandoned our vehicles and began to run, driving past that monster would be suicide. We just ran, aimless and terrified, for the fields and woodland that ran alongside the embankment of the motorway slip road.
I took the risk of looking back. To my horror I saw the rounded head of the monster begin to glow. What looked like red lightning flashed, and the line of cars erupted in flames.
I put my head down and ran, so hard and fast I thought my heart would explode. I stumbled, fell, and watched impotently as my companions ran on without me, scattering into the relative safety of the woods.
Wet and dirty, I scrambled to my feet. But just as I was about to start sprinting again, the same flickering effect occurred before me.
I closed my eyes, convinced I was about to be crushed beneath another of those albino death machines.
But when I opened my eyes, I was met by a miracle.
Two CyberAgents stood before me. Identical figures but for their paint scheme. One black as night, the other, shining gold like a star.
The pair took in their surroundings, the burning slits of their eyes scanning the ground, registering the location of every, fleeing, human; before they marched off in the direction of the worm.
As one, they reached over their shoulders, to the twin holsters on their large backpacks. From them, they extracted two rod like devices. With a crackling hissing sound, the dark rods of the Black CyberAgent, ignited into twin beams of yellow fire. Laser like sword blades, which it then proceeded to swing at the white clad enemy. His partner, now holding twin golden pommels, ignited twin red blades of light, and launched himself at the enemy as well.
As I ran from the scene, I couldn't help but glance back.
My last view was of the closing night, punctuated by red lightning and flashing blades of red and yellow, crackling and zinging as they clashed."

I've put these two together because they are essentially the same design just in different colours.
The more observant out there will have noticed that I'm also including some prose with these creations. A short story written as diary entries. The "Parts" need to be read in order to make sense. Here is what I've written so far...
