It is unforntunate that this entry failed to make it on time. It is spectacularly detailed and well thought in the use of parts yo create a masterpiece of not just one but two iron man creations. Definitely this creation will become a hall of fame in the future despite not winning any votes. My only gripe on this creation is the extensive use of system parts which in someway would disapprove to many bio mocer loyalist. Personally, I have no problems but in an important Bio moc competition where rules are placed, I doubt it would please everyone. |

Both are incredible mocs =] However, quoting the Bio Cup's rules, the system parts should've been kept at minimum, and what I see is A LOT of system, so it's not so hard to say that this isn't really in accordance with the rules. This is more of a bionicle/system fusion than an actual bio-moc, but excellent nonetheless. |

Quoting Johann Dakitsch
I have seen WIP pics on Flickr, but seeing it complete is much better! Although I do feel an original character could have been more interesting, as an Iron Man MOC, this thing is absolutely awesome! Too bad you didn't make it on time. Perhaps if you had done only Iron Man, instead of the two?
Perhaps, but I had decided from the start to build them both, so as I was building Iron Man I factored in needing similar pieces for War Machine. Once Iron Man was almost finished, WM came together quite quickly. |
|
|
This is truly astounding. The musculature, colors, details-everything is just so perfectly done with the brick integration. It's right on tier with Retinence's work and that's saying something big. The ultimate creation of the Bio-Cup even though it was late. Congratulations! |

What to say... I don't see in this the freaky life you imbued in your "it's a trap!", the bold originality of your "Styracocannon", the complex functionality of your "Destral Glider" or the insanity showcased in "you are what you eat". However, This could very well be you best MOC to date, if we consider the sheer sculpting technique. I think the decision to present an existing character, and one in an expressionless suit of armor at that, severely limited your great talent to give life and grit to your characters. If you had posted it on time, it would have been very hard to judge. |
