Hello everybody!
I hope you remember me... well,
at last, I return to you with a LOTR creation: The Battle of Osgiliath from 'Return of the King'!
About this creation
"Once the pride of Gondor, a shining city near the River of Anduin, now a battlefield overrun by the evil forces of Sauron. Gondorians and Ithilien Rangers are fighting for their lives as more and more orcs keep approaching from the East, but it all seems like a never-ending wave of evil sweeping itself over the outnumbered forces of the West..."
After a long time of playing around and not doing much to it, pauses and delays during my times of working on this MOC, it's finally finished. Unfortunately I had to rush the last bit for a little, and I couldn't get the nice roofs I had in mind right with the leftover pieces in light grey so I had to keep 'em flat - I just really wanted to have it done after such a long time. Most of this MOC features one of the first LEGO creation-related things I actually made in a bit over a year, several months ago, and this is also the first MOC I post here on MOCpages in almost... 2 years? Woah, time went by very quickly. Anyways, enjoy!

One of the Gondorian soldiers here is fighting off orcs on his own, but for how much longer will he last?

A ranger of Ithilien and a Gondorien archer stand side by side, fending off orcs from safe distance... safe, for now.

Orcs are starting to surround this unfortunate Ithilien ranger, and hope for him seems to be lost...

The end of the Battle of Osgiliath is far from near...

Hope you liked the first creation I've posted on here in a long time,
C&C is welcome as always! I'm hoping to post more stuff on here from now on,
now that I'm fully back into MOCing. (I used to customize lots of figures and I've still been active on Flickr for all those years)
With the mention of "customizing" - yes, the orc sword on the second-to-last pic is custom made by me, so is the same orc's shield and the Eye of Sauron banner you see in some of the pictures. Well actually, there's only one completely official orc in here, many of them have been customized. Check out my Flickr photostream if you want to see the custom orcs gathered - over 14 batches of 'em and counting:

Anyways, hope you liked this one, hoping to be posting more stuff again in the future.

Awesome moc. One of my favorite battles both in the books and the movies. The wooden slats lying around are a great addition and the door is amazing. Great build. Maybe something from the Silmarillion in the future? |

Man! What a MOC to come back with. Everything here is wonderful, from the architecture to the awesome texture on the ground. You've perfectly achieved that Lord of the Rings atmosphere here. Great work, and welcome back. |

This is awesome! I love the destroyed look all of all the buildings with the rubble on the ground, looks just like it did in the movies! Also a lot of great minifigs here. I've started to delve into castle-themed builds myself so watch out for those! I added you as a fav to see whats in store for your next build! 5/5 -J. |
