My Instructions for making poseable minifigs. Necessary items - I, being forgetful, forgot to add the arms to this pile, lol, whoops! please note, you don't need these exact items, but I find these the most helpful. Also, as my lego rubber bands are broken, I am using a non-lego one, but if you have a lego rubber band, using it makes it purist.
About this creation

1st - thread the rubber band like so.

2nd - Tie it like so, by threading the band through the band, then pull tight.

3rd - insert the band through the hole in the cape.

4th - place the cape and a head onto the torso, so it stays together.

5th - IMPORTANT - you then get the rubber band, so it lies over the torso - try to get it exactly in the middle, otherwise it will be lopsided.

6th - you then get your katana and STAB HIM! insert the katana - twist it, so that it pushes the end of the rubber band, so that it pushes the rubber band up the middle.

7th - CRUSH THAT PUNY HEAD! the body should then look like this.

8th - use that katana again, to push the band UP THE SIDE, to the armhole. use its curve to your advantage

9th - You twist the katana, so that it pushes the end of the rubber band slighly out of the hole - you then use the spear (or any other thin impliment), to fish the band out of the hole.

10th - you then slide the spear down, so that it can't escape slide off - this is why I chose the spear.

11th - do the same on the other side.

12th - pull the spear AWAY from the body, and slide an arm in - do the same for both sides.

13th - then find the right pose.

14th - And chuck him somewhere cool!

There are too many possible leg techniques to show you, but this was a basic arms+hood technique.

Hope this was helpful!

I hope you all enjoyed!

God bless you all!

~Tim~

P.S.-As i am moving soon, I have started taking some of my favourite builders off - you still are great builders, but I don't know how long I will be without internet. Also, I wanted just those who inspire me. (eg. Nick Jenson builds epic guns, but as I don't build guns, I'm not inspired) I'll probably add you lot on later, anyway :)

Awesome! I would like to do that action pose, but I'm afraid mu ninjas will not be playable in spinner battle. Still, nice technique.

A great technique, which allows you to get poses similar to the computer animation Lego adverts. I hope you give your mini-figs some anaesthetic before you rip their arms off...

Great instructions! BTW, it doesn't work with non-LEGO rubber bands, they are not thin enough.
