Flower of life - the inner Core (or how to build circles in LDD)
The Flower of life...Somebody maybe knows this as an easy mandala. Some other knows this as more than that...
About this creation
Also in LDD we are alowd to use the toleranzes from the bricks => so you can create a circle with 2x1 pieces...
Unfortunatly for more circles my pc is to slow in calculation...

Yes it doesn't look like LEGO...

But come closer ;-)

And more closer to the middle...

and that's the way => built this and turn the upper 2x1 about 2 and than ;-) copy & paste... you will get an circle with 360 pieces !

Maybe you could use this for...? A wall or whatever curved thing you want to built...

Nice technique. Matthew Sylvan did the hull of his newest destroyer like this but he used 1x6 or 1x8 bricks. Cant tell super well from the pics.

Very creative and intuitive design! I personally have no use for this right now, but I will be sure to reference this if I ever do.

Quoting Thomas Graafland Very smart, but I wouldn't really know how to use it in a MOC..... Great work though! 5/5
Maybe for a hood in a bigger car...? Let me know, if you have found a usage ;-)

Quoting Chris Roach interesting
Thanks Chris ;-) I'm always impressed what's possible in LDD, if you are only playing around for a little while...

Quoting Deus Otiosus LDD is better than I would expect! Very surprising thing!

Quoting David Roberts Wow! A very creative use of LDD. Those circles must have a quite a large diameter in real life. I wonder what could be built with them: a space-station or a ferris-wheel or a mono-rail...?
Thanks! Yeah - the diameter i doesn't calculate, but with this circles you come on the end of LDD... open the file if you want to see it ;-) If you look ca.45 degrees from above on it and zoom out => the pieces in the backside dissapear... And yes you could do anything you want with that! a spaceship maybe :) !
