Lamborghini Miura SV
The Lamborghini Miura... a first... in many ways...one of the first production Lambo, first Mid-Engined car, first super car, and the fastest production car, also rated as the 3rd most beautiful car by Top Gear (Miura episode) so Lamborghini had a pretty good start, wait who am I kidding? They had an AMAZING start!!! This 1/20 (approx. scale) is 10x26 studs in dimentions and has 488 parts, features opening doors, engine cover (to reveil the V12 engine of course :))and front spare wheel/fuel tank's cover NOTE: LDD dosen't allow you to use the pins for SNOT so back angle peices aren't connected. NOTE: surprisingly this is only the 20th Miura on MOCpages. I hope you like it and have a nice day :) Update: Lucky Leprechuan made this in real bricks (a little changed due to not being able to get the real parts) http://mocpages.com/moc.php/345804

Quoting Lucky Leprechaun Sorry that I haven't read your comment on my Moc, i haven't look through my comments since almost 2 weeks and I disabled E-mail notifications. So, yes, I still have this beauty. But it depends on how heavy the modifications are if I can buld them. I have lost circa 25% of my skills, because I haven't touched my Lego since almost 2 months. I guess you will also give the Ldd instructions for the Mk. II. If you do so, there would be no problem in making it real, even if the Mk. I has to be taken apart then. But if you don't give any instructions for the Mk. II, I guess I can't make them.
OK, I uploaded the instructions, the uploader didn't work when I uploaded it originally, the car has very few similarities (basicaly the headlights are the same and the doors are similar) also on the front & back compartments they use old hinges that haven't been used in a set for like 10 years or so, so that might be a problem (if you have them that will work, but you would probably have to use bricklink if you don't, as you used pick a brick last time right?)

It´s very difficult to build a LEGO-car with standard bricks. It needs a very long time to think about the way to make it. Nothing else is in the head for this period. You made a good job. The homepage is absolutely well designed. Thanks to god that LEGO is on this planet...

Quoting Lucky Leprechaun I've just ordered the missing bricks ;) They should arrive within 15 days. Aaaand my dad totally liked your Miura. But since not all of the bricks are aviable at Pick-A-Brick (for example the 1x2x2/3 roof tiles) my version looks a bit different, but only a little bit. P.S. Am I allowed to upload the Miura here on Mocpages? I will surely add a link to your original design.
sure, as long as you give me credit, don't forget to tell me if there are any problems! :)

Quoting Lucky Leprechaun YES!!! Thanks! I'm going to buy the brick at the Lego shop, becuse DesignByMe wont work anymore. But my Miura will be white with grey rims. And I still have to convince my parents...
ok, if your parents let you, i would like to know if there are any problems (weak spots) with the design, though it should be pretty strong.

Quoting Lucky Leprechaun Awesome model 5/5 The proportions are really good and near to the original. But one little thing is wrong. The Miura is not the first-time-ever produced car of Lamborghini. The first was the Lamborghini 350 GT. Miura: 1966 350GT: 1963 http://lmgtfy.com/?q=Lamborghini+350+GT
Thanks! i got the info from wikipedia, i may of misunderstood it though.

Quoting Loek Marcus I think don't your best but it looks so good! Why are there connector pegs at the back of the car?
Thanks the conneter pegs are for the back, some SNOT is needed, LDD doesn't let you use that technic, but i did that so it's on the part list.
