Court of the Gentiles is a MOC based on the illustration of Jerusalem of the first century as shown on the Insight on the Scriptures published by Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society of Pennsylvania
About this creation
I believe the graphic illustrations on this book were great, as well as the general layout of the city of Jerusalem. This MOC only catpures a piece of the Court. The entire layout of the Court would require atleast x4 more of the bricks/pieces used for this layout. The MOC sits on 6 '32x32' baseplates. I tried to stick close to my sources, but the landscaping was all my idea. Please take a look and let me know what you think about my latest MOC. Thanks!

**Page was updated, I didn't like the previous layout of the photos**

Really amazing walls, and and awesome courtyard(?). Though it might've been easier to see if you set the photos to 'Large' when you were uploading them, just a tip. :)

Quoting Krazy Kastle Krak Guy This is very good. I was thinking about building the Temple himself... it will be nice displayed above your Court of the Gentiles. Keep the good job! Congratulations!
Your comments mean so much especially coming from an architect master builder! The temple would be a nice display on top of the court. Thanks!

Quoting Evan Constantine What an exellent model, all the more so for its unique subject matter. I google-searched 'court of the gentiles' and I think you really captured some of the images I found. Is there any way you can add a photo of your inspiration for this model? I know you referenced the Watchtower magazine, but I couldn't find that specific image online. Well, great job, the mosaic-stile walls are striking and so is the architecture.
First I wanna thank you for taking a moment to search the topic as you are right it is quite unique in the world of lego, and for your constructive feedback. My base for inspiration was from the illustrations from the insight on the scriptures encyclopedia shown above. However, this particular edition is in spanish!

Very nice build. I kinda wish there was a little less variation in the colors on the wall, but I know you are basing it on the reference picture.

Fantastic! I really like how you made the wall mottled like in the book, very ancient middle eastern looking and great architectural work on the interior. 5/5 -J.
