The Project goes on... some things are done since my last post. Some more bricks (about 6340 are used) i get right in there position and although it seems that i'm not much more far away from last time - i wanted to do this post to show that i'M still alive and on this project...! Unfortunatly i can't spent the time for this that i want, but it goes on..........

I can only say WOW, I saw the alien movie when it originally came out (telling my age) lol. My son 11 loves alien, aliens as well and we both are excited to see the finished design. We have discussed this as a father son project and wish you well in your hard work of this excellent model. Looking forward to be able to build one for real with my son. Keep up the excellent work.
Thank you very much Joseph! Yeah - i also love the Alien saga and it's special ships... If you want to see more from this project check out the newest state here ;-) http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/345533 I will finish this and get it into reality as soon as possible...

This is an impressive, time-consuming project for LDD. It's looking very detailed indeed. Have you had any time to finish the amazing manta-shaped spaceship too?
Thanks David! Yes - time-that's what i need... The Manta is still standing around and waiting for some finish ideas. I would say i only take a break on that ;-) ! |

As the sections start to enclose I'm becoming even more hopeful about this project. You've blended the angles together nicely and your greeble work is looking nice. It does strike me that some of it would show up better if it wasn't all black on black. Even a little dark grey would help make the details you've added pop.
Thanks Daniel! I thought about this! maybe i will "repaint" some sections on the finished ship to show some details better... ;-) !

Really cool, Mihe. I love the engines, and that greebling you've got going there on the side. Can't wait to see this in real bricks.
Thank you Tim! I think it will need more time... After finishing this i have to make a partlist first what i have and what i need... ;-( |
