About this creation
The Routemaster Bus is a doubledecker bus, Built first in 1956. Since then, 2,876 were made, with 1000 still in existence. They have become an iconic sign and site in London, lasting on bus routes until 2005.
It was such a successful bus it outlasted two other buses introduced to preceed it.
