Here is my Lego Dancouga - Super Beast Machine God - Eagle Fighter, at minifig scale and it is able to transform into 3 different modes.
About this creation
Dancouga - Super Beast Machine God is one of the famous Japanese robot animation initially showed on TV in 1985 in Japan. Dancouga is consists of 4 beast robots, include land cougar, land liger, big moth and eagle fighter is the captain and it forms Dancouga's head. The eagle fighter becomes one of my favourite robot character since I was a kid. However, it has not been released any big size toy or figure for solely eagle fighter so far. In fact, it is a very good design and I have to use Lego bricks to build my own one.
I started to build this MOC about a couple of years ago. Although I recently modified some areas, but nothing is major so I am not going to re-take the photo and keep using the old. I used different bricks to create the windscreen part because I could not find any suitable Lego standard windscreen.
There are 2 channels air intake for the engine. One located at the front of the robot's leg and one in the middle.
The cockpit fits 1 mini figure and it has control panel.
Pilot is sit in there.
Start to transform into a robot.
The eagle fighter head can push in for one and a half stud length, so the robot torso is not going to look too long.
The pilot seat's angle can be adjusted to a bit verticle when the eagle fighter is under robot mode.
Thanks everyone. I think this series has not been shown in the US, but most of the countries in the world has. I don't think I can do the rest of the vehicles cos if I make them the same scale, it is going to be huge. Just imagine how big for the body by comparing the Dancouga head that I made. So far I only want to focus on mini figure scale creations.
