About this creation
The hermit lives on a small, barren, rocky island, with a bridge that connects it from the mainland. Andar and Kole go to visit him, and ask for information. Most people do not know that the hermit is Andar's dad's best friend and fellow soldier. Andar now goes to ask for a map of the outlaw's swamplands, and the surroundings....
Built a while back, I have finally found time to take pictures and post. I will now let the pictures speak for themselves.
C&C always welcome, and appreciated!
Enjoy!

Through LukeClarenceVan the Revanchist's rockwork, and some suggestions, I think that my rockwork has improved. I hope you think the same!

Fig-less

I have had trouble with making a good road, and have improved, thanks to the suggestions! Thank you everyone who critiqued! Much appreciated!

The figs.
Thanks for viewing!
Soli Deo Gloria!
Matthew

Hello again :) I was reading through the comments and saw you mention using iPhoto to lighten the background. I have the same software. Would you mind telling me how you do that? I'd really appreciate it :D
Certainly! First, you are going to need a white background like a big poster board, and good lighting. Then take your pictures, and go to iPhoto. When you click the photo that you want to edit, there is an edit button down in the right-hand corner. Click that, then at the top right, you will see 3 different editing areas. Click the farthest right hand one, and there will be a level field on the top. There are little arrow like thing at the bottom of that field. Click and hold the right hand one, and drag it to the left. You will see that your picture is brightening. Drag it as far as you want, and your picture should have a pretty good white background around the creation. Then I use a free photo editing system called GIMP, and finish it off. I hope this helps! |

Nice job!
For the rockwork, try not to have a lot of overhands (no matter how small). They tend to look less natural than steep and shallow inclines. |

Hey well done! Hey how do you get the white background?
I use iPhoto to do the basics, crop, and lighten around the creation. Then I use a photo editing system called GIMP, and make the background white. |

These builds are really starting to get good! Now that your buildings and rock-work are so detailed, I think you should develop a new water technique. :)
Good idea Ian! Thanks for the suggestion! |
