First off, a lot of the pics are blurry, I was in a bit of a rush. (REALLY sorry, it was very important business)
About this creation
Category:
"Just one of those days..." Have you ever had a day where nothing went well? Maybe you got fired, maybe you could only find one sock, or maybe the machines rose up and took control of the planet. Show us your idea of the worst day ever.
Link to Stuarts' homepage.
Every had one of those days, when the judges decided to take over the world?
Yeah, that would be bad. Really bad.
As requested, some pictures of the whole thing. :)
The front.
The back.
The lake and a willow tree.
The big mech.
A crashed spaceship.
Starting with the close-ups, I begin with a picture of the worker on his 4-wheeler.
Staying near him, I took a picture of the spewed-up ground made by said 4-wheeler.
Then I strayed to the shed. Nothing much here, but the build really was lacking, which is why I added it.
Some crates with a broom and fire extinguisher.
The front/roof of the shed.
REALLY pointless feature that hogged up my brown tiles, but the roof comes off. :)
This is a bullet hitting the ground and making...sparks?
This is where the bullet came from.
Sorry for the blurry pic, my hand kept slipping and he kept falling over. Anyways, Sebeus, get a new siggy, your rarity of parts was too much for me. :P
The engines are a roarin'! More on his speeder later.
Back to the 4-wheeler, the side.
The exhaust.
The camp-fire is going out...
Alright, bit of humor. You know it's happened to you at least once in your life, on accident or not. When you fell off the back of whatever you were sitting on. And don't forget falling painfully on your bum. ;)
The other vacant logs.
Run for your lives!
Kid, I'd just drop the backpack if I was you. But I'm not! XD
The path.
I wish I had the other Frodo head, would have made for much more of an expression.
Considering I got shot in the bum.
The massive hand gun. He, he.
His shoulder.
There is another Judge. Paul Vermeesch, to be exact. He stayed way up in that cockpit with a gas mask so as he wouldn't get his nose dirty or any dirt on his slacks.
I love the posture of his torso. :3
His knees/ankles/feet.
His hips looked ever so plain, so I added these to make it stick out more. I guess they're storage bags of some sorts.
This little bot is a camera, controlled by Paul to see other angles of the battle he can't get at in his massive mech.
An old man running away from his fishing. He actually resembles my grandpa quite a bit.
His fishing pole.
The water. I've seen this tehnique a few places, but I don't think anyone really "created" it.
The foliage.
And a mud puddle. I believe that Mr.LukeClarenceVan The Revanchist invented that. Thanks!
Another puddle.
The rest of the foliage.
My willow tree.
Using those green slopes is really helpful in building these. :)
I like the willow tree. It looks good.
The laser gun, belonging to the smaller mech.
Its leg. These guys were hard to design, especially the hips.
Hey look! It's Cody G! I know it looks like Kelso, and that was who it was originally going to be, but I realized he isn't a judge. XD
The arm. These weren't AS tricky, but still difficult.
The back. Originally it was to be the front, but the round thing looked better a chest than this.
The crashed ship.
I was able to incorporate my smoke technique into this. :3
The broken, bent up metal. This was the trickiest part of the ship.
I put a piece here so that there wasn't a gap.
Phippy, get yourself a student driver sign!
The ground-up, burnt dirt.
More of that.
The whole thing, figless.
The 4-wheeler, semi based off of the one we own.
The figs.
The judges.
Sebeus I, (Get a new siggy!)
Chris Phipson,
Shannon Ocean,
Cody G,
And Paul Vermeesch.
Finally, he got out of his mech. This picture stands out to me. :)
The controls of the big mech.
I also added an unfold-able gun to his back. :)
Some kind of locating device.
A comlink.
Sebeus' speeder.
The flames.
Engine/gas tank thing.
Controller, comlink, radio and microwave. :P
And Shannon. This was the most fun to design, methinks, as it wasn't near as frustrating as either of the mechs. You may want to scroll through the pictures again, because he is hidden in some of them. Kudos if you can find him!
Side view.
The back.
Cya! Now Chris (Roach) it's not that I don't like you, but I don't believe you have a non transformic siggy, and I can't fit another big guy in this. (unless he's flying, which would be difficult) Also, I would like to say thanks to Chris and everyone else who helped make this contest. And Stu, good luck! (Though it's not very likely you're going to need it)
Hope You Enjoyed! Thanks For Looking!
C&C Always Welcome!
God Bless ~ David.

Rise of the machines! :) Haha, When I first was building them, I wanted it to be a guy who lost his sock, which was in his dryer, which had risen to an evil mech along with other machines. :D

I was very flattered to get the epic stomping/burning mech, but unfortunately, my vote falls to Stu as well. I loved the playability features and carnage in your build, but the humor/horror presented in Stu's builds put it over the top for me. Great fight though! And thus my prediction ends faithful. :| Thanks, though. :[

Very nice, the ankles of that mech look nice, I like my alternate sigfiggy and that speeder is pretty cool as well, there are so many details in here but as a whole I think your opponent managed to make a stronger entry, my vote goes to Stuart Delahay.
Keep it up, you did great ;)
PS: that sigfiggy is very nice, I might use that in the future ;) Thanks! My prediction is coming true... :[

A really fun idea here! Judge smack (when done well) is always a plus! Nice mech and I simply LOVE the Ocean fig (although his official one is bald with sunglasses and a batman t-shirt hehe). While it was a great entry, my vote went with Stuart on this one. Good luck with the other judges! ~ Chris. This is...REALLY BAD! I noticed that whatever you say, the other judges say pretty much the same thing. :( Thanks!

I'm just guessing the pics need more text and the post isn't done yet, but I'd love to say that Sebeus urgently needs to change his fig in the one you created; it's awesome. Kelso's mech (I'm guessing) and that Ocean skippy is, uhm, boxing clever! I think that the rest is a bit chaotic due to the absence of text or a story, so that might need a bit of work before you post it in the group. Good luck with your judges! You guessed it, I'm getting it nice so I don't notice something after it is added to the group. :/ Thanks!

Well done David. I do wish you had taken a few shots of the whole build with the figures and mechs in place as it would have been much easier to see the whole scene and get a sense of the action on that big base than it is following all the close-up details you included, and I really think that would have helped you present this idea. There are some great details - I love the dirt tracks and the Shano/boxing kangaroo fig is hilarious! The very best of luck to you. You'll have to wait a few days for my build yet.
