I mean, I AM 18! Hahahaha!
About this creation
Yes, it's my birthday today! Normally it wouldn't be significant enough to post anything about, but being 18 has, I believe, granted me.... AFOLism! *THUNDER*
So, I've joined the ranks of the AFOLs. What now? Well, I thought I'd give you a tour of my Lego set-up. Brace yourselves for a possibly underwhelming experience that you may soon forget!

A general overview of my room viewed from my door. It misses out some stuff but I'll get to that in a bit. You can see my Alienware M11xR3 sitting on my desk though...

This is where most of the collection is kept. The calendar says Spetember because I took these photos a week ago.

The drawers! The top drawer is home to my white, blue, black, and grey 'normal' bricks. The middle has red, yellow, and green alongside my baseplates and set instructions. The bottom drawer has what very little technic I own along with...

...This stuff! I keep smaller models in here. My USS Excelsior, USS Halcyon, an old Spybotics set, and some of the original Bionicles are here.

To the left of the drawers are the boxes. All Lego products, these boxes.

The Red Brick box contains my 'tiny' detail pieces, as does the smaller red CREATOR tub.

The blue and green CREATOR tubs are home to most of my minifigs. The blue is for Star Wars, the green for others (mostly Space related).

The White Brick has my plates and medium-sized detail pieces.

The biiig Blue Brick contains the largest of the detail pieces I own.
The tour doesn't end here folks, there's more!

Here are 2 as-yet unposted models, on display by my bedroom door.

Anybody remember this set? Anybody? OF COURSE YOU DO, IT'S EPIC.

The shelves in the darker corner of my room (not metaphorically darker, it is quite dim over there) are home to some more models.

Having been featured on 'Pimp My Allied Avenger', this upgraded Blacktron fighter now sits between the two little ships I showed you a 'sneak preview' of before, because some nice geological specimens now occupy this shelf.

My Mars Mission collection. There's hardly enough room for them all, and that's even with the MX-11 Astrofighter hanging by a piece of string from the shelf above!

And finally, my Naginata mech sits on display above my head as I type this. It has never fallen on me once.
End notes:
Well, that's all folks! If you have any questions, post away, or they may well be answered here:
I can't really differentiate being 18 from being 17, so I can't answer 'What's it like being 18?'
No, my hair does not always look like that. You can thank the Great British weather for what you see.
Yes, the Saucer Section of the USS Iowa is bigger than my head.
No, you will not know the names of those 2 previewed ships until I post them. However long that'll be...
That picture of me is not the best either. It took a few minutes and I decided that this was decent enough. DON'T JUDGE.

Of course our age group can also claim being a TFOL until we turn 20. Is it possible to be a AFOL/TFOL all at the same time??
And very nice Star Trek stuff, looks better than any Star Trek stuff I have done. |

K, couple of things... First, HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Second, I believe there's a salve or a pill for AFOLism but I'll have to double check with Jones about that. Third, That Star Destroyer is one of the few sets that I still have on my shelf as well! Fourth... Wishing you the best of luck dude. It's all downhill from here! Welcome to the ranks! (and by that I mean we all need a shower... you never have enough time for anything as an adult) ~ Chris. |

Grats on the AFOL milestone! Remember, there is no turning back now haha! I really enjoyed that Mech, perhaps it even inspired me to try my hands at a mech in the future. Again congrats, and I second what El Barto said. ~Thoy |
