AM-SPACE - 'Eagle'
This one's in Technic scale for a change :)
About this creation
Late in the first Alien War, Am-Space developed the 'Eagle' which would remain their mainstay fighter throughout the following second Alien War. Though GAIA features prominently in any history book, it should be noted that Am-Space in fact saw about 33 percent of the action in Alien Wars 1 and 2, and proved a linchpin to victory.

War efforts - GAIA 44% / Am-Space 33% / Galactic China 14% / Afrika 7% / Other 2%

Quoting Daz Hoo I was looking at the pictures and I was saying to myself: "This is unusually big for a fighter made by Parrington." Then, I noticed the fig inside and figured out that it wasn't to minifig scale! I must say that this little venture proves that no matter the scale, you're a great builder with your own unique style. Very good MOC!
wow, thanx Daz :)

I thought it was big till I saw the fig... Indeed, it could be!! :) Excellent work on this ship, love the design and the shape!

It took me a while to realize that was not a minifig, and made be come back up there to re-check and see it differently altogether. Great color options!

Hmm, Technic scale, that is!? Yeah, it looks definitely cool! I see little parallels to my (Freelancerīs) Dagger. The intakes, left and right from the cokkpit, you know. Right what I like. I wonder if it would still be looking good with the middle section of the nose removed, for the extra BSG touch. :-) Anyways, superb work! Long live GAIA! ~Marc

Nice work! Dem wings ish stubby, but that adds quite a bit to the overall build! The scale is perfect, I couldn't tell that was Technic fig scale until I saw the pilot's compartment open. I like the ending there, indeed, In God we Trust! -Ultra

At first look, this is another good-looking GAIA fighter. Then, as you scroll down the photos, there's a big surprise: literally! All of a sudden, you realise that those air intakes are roof parts like the ones on the big police rescue helicopter. This is a great idea, skillfully carried off. It's also quite inspiring. I've had some wings built for a while and then got stuck. I would love to use them for a build on this scale!

Quoting Tom Simon Lovely ship. What is technic scale?
G'day again Tom, yeh basically if it's built around the technic scale not so mini-fig, it's gonna be a technic scale model... Well I would assume? Cheers mate :)

Quoting Chris Roach luv the intakes and engines - reminds me of the old US roger ramjet cartoon for some reason!

Quoting Yuri Fassio This looks like something they could build, like, next year...
Hehe, yeh, if they set their mind to it. The West has gotten too bogged down in BS these days and had it seems forgotten how to dream. I was SO happy to hear the Dutch have planned to build a colony on Mars b y 2020. Go the Dutch! Then as usual the Brits will go and take it off them, hahahaha...

As soon as I saw this my first thought was; "who would build a colonial viper that needs to go on a diet?" Then I take a closer look and see why it's my mate Parrington! It's interesting to see your take on big gals (those gals being space fighters of course). I must admit though I'm amazed you can find the time to build this "little lady" while still mixing it up in the MocOlympics. Any hoot, well done my friend, well done!

I'm always surprised how much scale impacts on the feel of MOC. This feels beefy and brutally powerful. I'm with Chris, great intakes.

Very nice. Great switch up on the scale too, but then to a minifig, that would make this a tiny fighter in comparison to typical GAIA fighters, not that I'm saying that's a bad thing. Personally, I think the overall shape is the best thing about this one. It grabbed my attention. Long Live GAIA! ^Blub^

Quoting Chris Phipson I'm really liking the scale you chose here! Most people go minifig scale or micro but taking it to this scale was really thinking outside the box! Love the design and the color choices were subtle yet perfect! Nice one! ~ Chris.
Cool, cheers Chris. Yeh I'd been meaning to do a technic scale fighter for the longest time and today I just happened to to do one and am SO glad I did. It really lets you work the shape. :)

Thanks there, yeh I really got into it today and came up with something I was pleasantly surprised with.
