OK, my first model on here, and the biggest I`ve ever built! Let`s get started, shall we?
About this creation
Pythor`s scepter. Tried to put it at the bottom, but the computer wouldn`t cooperate
Mini-snake bed.
SLITHER PIT! SLITHER PIT!
Transpot cart.
Main gate. Sorry this one is sideways.
Zipline of sorts.
My new custom forge. No photoshop here, just an LED brick, and a few translucent studs.
The river. It functions as their water supply and also as a sleeping area for the calvary forces. Notice the rock work, and the frogs.
Some defense for the back wall. Note the custom-built catapult.
Rockwork.
More rock work. Note the two skeletons dangling from a chain.
Custom Hypnobrai Shrine. There are shrines for all four tribes (minus the Anocondrai), but I`m not going to bother posting the Fangpyre or the Venomari since they come straight out of Jay`s Storm Fighter and Venomari Shrine, respectively.
Constrictai Shrine.
Storage area. Look closely, and you can see a cart designed for easy transport of materials/Serpentine.
The outside mine shaft, and the "Inside the Mine" vignette to go with it.
My two chariots and ballista.
The dining table.
A portion of the second level.
Last but not least, the frontal gate.
So, now that you`ve seen the build, rate and comment please! Also, if you have a question or some constructive criticism, feel free to post. I would enjoy having a discussion on the build in the comments. Oh, and I realize I didn`t have many pictures for the size of the model, so if you would like to see more pictures of a specific area, say so in the comments and I`ll try to put up one. UPDATE: Thanks for the comments guys! I`ve added more pics, as you can see.

I'd like to see more pictures. I like it because it has lots of detail in it.
Will a version two coming sometime this week be good?

Thanks! Version two will be posted at some point today, if the computer signal will cooperate. (I'm currently on an iPad, in case you're wondering.) |

This is very nice, and I will give you a 4/5. You had a lot of nice detail, and good rockwork. I only suggest bigger pictures, so I can see better. Also, if you have the pieces, try adding walls around it, make it more like a diorama. If you could add these, maybe a roof, and more levels, it will make it look more like a castle. Other than that, great! Oh, and welcome to Mocpages!
Thanks! I would have put bigger pics in the first place, but my computer would not cooperate. That shall be done in version two though! I don't think I have enough dark grey parts for a roof, and I would have to find some way to make it detachable. (Which would be challenge in itself, considering the sheer size.) Same issue with the more levels bit, although I might be able to add a few more platforms. I'm not sure what you mean by making it look more like a diorama, as I'm not excactly well-versed in Lego lingo. I think I have, however made it more like a castle when I decided to do something with the some 3,400 part Eiffel Tower model I found in my Lego lab, as I call it. I'm taking a trip to the Lego Store in a few weeks, here's hoping the PAB section is ripe for the picking! |
