About this creation
Based on a late 60s MGC/MGB, this is a 14 stud wide all lego creation which took a week to make and a month of edits to make it just right. A rather pretty looking sports car I think, with its fine 60s sports lines. This very model in fact was on display at the MGB 50th anniversary event and was a huge hit, getting more photographs taken than the car it was parked on [72' MGB GT Coupe]

Rear view with the single exhaust, badge, fuel cap and opening boot lid.

Tan leather and walnut dash to give it a classy look. No stickers needed, which is fine by me as I hate stickers anyway. No real moving parts though, I'm not that skilled.

Boot lid open showing how much trunk space there is, with some accessories too in case you wanted a day out in the sun.

Custom 2.9l straight 6 designed by Dylan Denton and customized by yours truly. The design was first used in Dylan's Ford Escort MK2 and to make it work I added 2 more cylinders. The original engine was a small v8 but it did not look right, so I used this design and it looks 10x better.

Roof design in profile. Its rather tacky but it rained on the event day and it did its job so I say it was a success.

All accessories I found to go with the car include a picnic basket, camera, polishing brush, wine and a toolkit.

Front view of the early 70s grill and Sebring style bumpers. It used to have chrome/white bumpers but I changed them for this sleeker looking front end.

Excellent, you used great ideas to build this car like the using of the ferrari fenders for the backhood(I hope you know which part I mean), A really smooth car, I agree with Starscream it deserves a lot more attention. |

Nice - as Ape said, simple but excellent.
Can't quite compare to your work though, I don't have that much skill

Nice job. Simply but excellently built, and it looks like the real deal too - you've put a lot of thought into this. 8/10 : ) Great work. P.S You might want to add a 'd' into your 'roaster title' - otherwise it's coffee related - or something else entirely...
Thanks, I didn't notice. |
