Just a little Tale with a Bunch of Beguiling Bionicle Bunny Falderal!...
About this creation
Tragically, every 7 full revolutions of the moon, Bota Magna, PawPaw’s Bioniclogical Mother, experienced a great sadness. To understand why you must read…
The Very, Very Important Background Bunny Tail …oops… Tale!:
(Yes, there are pictures too!)
Lost in the Annals of Bionicle History comes the tale of the never-before-allowed-to-be- mentioned Great Being, Rabbitia. This particular Great One, like another, was curious and touched the Ignika. But unlike another, no curse fell upon her. Instead, she was to forever possess the mystical essence/spirit of the Life Force, Mana. Her name was changed to Mana Rabbitia, and she was secreted away to spend the rest of her days giving birth to one baby Toa-Rabbi every 7 full revolutions of the moon, Bota Magna.
But, poor Rabbitia was never allowed to keep but one baby Toa by her side at any time. Every 7 full revolutions, just after she had given birth to a new baby, a winged messenger from the Great Spirit would arrive, and take away her older baby, leaving her with only her new baby. Yet, strangely, shortly after the messenger would leave, she would always realize that she again had another baby Toa beginning to develop within her. Her great sadness was that she never knew what became of all her beautiful babies… these babies that all grew-up to become heroic Toa-Rabbis!
And so I, the StoveTop Creator, will tell to you, the tale of the greatest of Mana Rabbitia’s Toa Babies… Her 7th baby who she called Bunny PawPaw… because Bunny was as sweet as the fruit of the swamp’s pawpaw tree. Beautifully lithe in body and possessing a natural elegance, as Bunny PawPaw grew-up, her nature was less of a warrior of great physical prowess and more of a…
Scholar Scientist!

Forced to sneak away to deserted corners of mechanical machine shops to read and study, she came to be viewed with scorn and shame by many young Toas, even though she had a powerful control and understanding of both Fire and Water! Using her great intelligence and knowledge of math, science, and materials engineering, she deftly melded Fire and Water into a new ‘essence’… STEAM! She harnessed this power of STEAM in an awesome weapon…
The Steamed-Carrot-On-A-Stick!

And when she reached full Toa adulthood and welded this magnificent weapon of STEAM, the shame and the scorn visited her no more. For this weapon was capable of delivering a mighty blasted burst of pressurized GREEN STEAM at any marauding foe. The glorious tales of her wondrous exploits are far too many to tell here. I will just say that she was always accompanied by her faithful Matoran sidekick…
Bunny Stinky Pinky!

I am sure that you have taken notice that Pinky wears a chest armour of PawPaw’s old Toa Nuva mask turned upside down. This is to remind both PawPaw and Pinky of when they first meet during the time of Toa PawPaw’s retransformation back into a Toa-Rabbi!
Many tales of PawPaw and Pinky can be heard in the verses of familiar ballads sung in taverns and pubs and chanted as battle cries across the land! I will simply say that the love for Toa PawPaw was so great that when her Toa Destiny was completed, there was much sadness on the part of Matorans and Toas alike for the passing of what has come to be called, the grand TOA AGE OF STEAM.
Turning Tails & Walking Away?

Well, PawPaw and Pinky certainly did not walk off into oblivion never to be heard of again! True, like so many warrior heroes who lived their lives forever in the glory of the limelight, PawPaw chose to insulate herself from her adorning fans, returning to her scholarly studies, and she became the Honorable Turaga PawPaw of Punked Steam educating many a blossoming Toa in the ways of the STEAM. Pinky remained her faithful confidant and secretary, even recording many of their heroic tales for the Annals of Bionicle History. And keeping with her Toa Training, PawPaw allowed herself but one indulgence--mashed steamed carrots with honey and cinnamon, which she and Pinky ate every 7th day at their evening meal for the rest of their lives! But sadly, Bunny PawPaw never met her mother, Mana Rabbitia, the Great Mother Being of so Many Toa-Rabbis!
4th wall:
I would like to give credit to Toa Phosphorus for PawPaw’s ‘skirt’ design. He employed this design for the ‘skirt’ of his Spectra the Witch. Thanks Phos, for encouraging me to use it!
When my oldest daughter was only about 2 ˝ , she was playing, pretending to cook me stuff. She came up with her own original recipe… Egg-On-A-Stick! This was a Playskol plastic egg which she opened and plopped on a wooden chunky ‘stick’ from one of her wooden puzzles! I suppose this is where I got the idea for PawPaw’s weapon! :)

That's one wicked Bunny! The ears are a clever approach, creating a more aggressive look. Nice!
So, it's her ears that give her that Toa look? And here I thought it was the Carrot-On-A-Stick! :) |

Nice use of system pieces on the arms!
Thanks, just trying to conform (oooh, I hate that word!) to the theme. People seem to use barrels with Steam Punk. I certainly, only recently, in fact, have seen what can happen when I go out-on-a-limb with a build... if you get my drift... a little sarcasm there too! Cheers! Hope you are doing well in college! :) |

First dwarves and now... bunnies? Haha, can't get enough of those unique theme-mixs! Nice use of the flowers!
Yup, and because of someone's comment here, I just got another idea for a build! Don't know how mixed-theme it will turn out, but it will certainly be crazy-mixed-up! Thanks, Michael! :) |

The strangest, angriest rabbit that I've ever seen!
BUT... Anger tempered with intelligence, knowledge, logic, and love becomes the strength called WISDOM! And that can only be achieved through the experience of life's hardknocks! Thanks for stopping by! :) |

hahaha, bunny bionical, it's just So cool having a builder with such a different slant on this style of building. Way to go Stovetop!
Well, thanks PL! Wish I held the title of 'the only one', but there are several out there. If I'm not mistaken, two are advancing to MORd2 due to their Walruses... yeah! Tho... perhaps I can be numbered in the 'one of a few women' biobuilders?! Anyhoo, I'll still be following you in the MO! :) |

Now that's what I call a bunny boiler. Love the carrot javelin - I've been served some equivent delicacies to the egg on a stick by my daughter too.
Don't kids dream up the greatest things! I wish real bunnies were as expressive as these! I've had 2 as pets, and both just didn't seem to have alot upstairs! Awwwh... but cat's rule (shh, even over pooches... don't let them know!) :) |

Oh, Tospy. XD That was just too perfect. Your builds, as always, are spectacular. But, in my personal opinion, your whole back story wins this one for me. You are very good at giving us funny, intelligent, and always interesting stories! Lovely work on everything here.
Oh, I had a feeling you, who loves the word play, would like this! Much thanks, as always! :) |
