UCS Venator Class Star Destroyer, to scale with the official UCS ISD.
About this creation
This is my version of Primus (www.brickcommander.com) model of the Venator Class Star Destroyer (Instructions for the original can be found here). Credit for the gun turret design goes to Roguebantha over at Brickshelf. I redesigned the hull plates for a couple of reasons, firstly because, although it does look nice with tiles on the hull plates (Primus' original design), in this case, I felt studs up would look just as good and with that came the ability to get that edge look where the hull plating changes on the real ship. I also wanted to get the recessed areas under the gun turrets that the real ship has.
All in all, I think it turned out quite nicely, I will put the MLCAD files for the hull plates up later just incase anyone is interested.

Hi Curtis, this set is mad. Just wondering if you could send me the part list and instructions for the primus version of your Venator cruiser to my email address at email@example.com, that would be great.
Thanks, keep building.
Wow!!! Its even better than the official Lego Venator! And you say to scale with the 10030 UCE ISD! I love it! It looks like it could be an actual model that you could buy! I was wondering, could you email me a list of all the bricks you used for this model at firstname.lastname@example.org PLEASE! I have the Imperial star destroyer set now i want this one. Personally i prefer the Venator over the Imperial 1 model.
One word,AWESOME!!! If you have instructions for Lego Digital Designer that would be great, and if you can send them to email@example.com. If not I guess I'll have to use the pictures that you provided through the link to brinkshelf. Either way I thank you.
OMG!!!!! this is amazing! i'm actually making one on lego factory by mixing up a few peices, but that is... amazing!!!!! where in lego history did u get the pieces and how much did it cost?! It's amazing! ~I want one!~
This is one of the best here. I like it alot. I am currently making my own miniature Venator.
I would like to be your ally or to put your name on my homepage. please tell me if this is Okay with you.
Also, The back "fins" line up perfevtly with the front hull, as if somebidy had sliced the "hanger bay" out. so the back fins ar a bit 2 long.
