About this creation
I've been working on this for a while, and at first it sterted out as another hot-rod/supercar chassis, with a roll cage and rear mounted engine, but as i added parts to it, it seemed a shame not to add a bit of length and make it into a dragster,
Well, it's long, and underneath it's bodywork it's the second version of this moc i've built,(the original had a 2 speed sequential gearbox with a shift lever in the cockpit)
it's a twin carb'd big block v8 with a nice big supercharger run off the chains at the front of the engine, and the cams run off a second chain, not by pushrods as on an american v8, and so far the inklet hood is the best i can think of, although i'm open to suggestions
the steering is very basic, no suspension, but as it's so long, the chassis flexes to take any bumps very well,
the reason this moc is called the CROC is that my wife thought it looked like one, either that or a bright red dragster version of the original batmobile, i liked croc myself....
