Thanks, Nannan! I think what I was going for originally was a good vs evil juxtaposition, but using white would probably have been even more striking.

I thought his sword was a lightsaber piece for a second... anyways, this is great, deserves many more likes. were you inspired by that scene in the deathly hallows when dumbledore and harry are in the middle of the underground lake?

I like the contrast, even though it wasn't obvious to me that they signified light and darkness. It happens that the leaves come in white but are expensive. An island made out of completely white parts would be even more striking.
