Hi! I think this may just be my best model ever!! Its funny that I was watching everyone guessing a Ferrari on my teaser, the big clue was in the comment I put in the track day car contest, which I just happened to be invited to as I was half way through this car!
What a perfect car for that competition!
This is a very hard car to make, I am very suprised not many people have tried to make one...
The front was definately the hardest part, I knew it was going to be before I started... So I tackled it before anything else, which is why the back isn't too good, I had a limited supply of parts for it :/
The doors are 3 wide at their widest part, the shape goes inwards and tuck behind the air intake.
Both doors open.
Artistic shot, the side intake.
The side, with the stubby aerial.
The back, not too good but you can tell the car's shape.
The engine cover open, the shape is very distinctive on thse cars.
Not too detailed 4 cylinder engine...
Of course, no Lotus Elise is complete without a targa roof!
The interior, red round bits at the front, that carries on throughout the interior!
Even on the opening glovebox!

I do like it. A LOT. come on, you are definetly improving, the solution for the windshield is awesome, I would never think in it! you did a great job, keep on going, this is actually your best model :D
I thought in your teaser that this was a 550 Barchetta, but now seeing all the car, I realize that is a Lotus :D |
