Two dinos posted for feedback and as a preview to the actual models.
About this creation
So, what we have here are two dinos: the Apatosaurus and Baryonyx. A little background about each:
The apatosaurus was a large herbivore. It was a sauropod along with camarasaurus, brachiosaurus, borealsaurus, argentinosaurus, and so on.
The baryonyx was a medium-sized carnivore. It was a theropod along with T-Rex, Spinosaurus, and other dinosaurs like them. Speculation would suggest that it would sit on a riverbank, sweeping its head side to side and when fish came close enough, it'd grab one with its hook-like claw. Before the discovery of suchomimus, baryonyx was thought to be the only piscivorous (fish-eating) dinosaur. Now onto the pictures!

The baryonyx. I'm not sure about the color scheme. I like it, but I want to hear everyone else's opinion.

Overhead view.

The foot detail. I'm pretty sure I'm the first one to come up with this design which is awesome, but incorporating it into a design that essentially relies on it is even better!

The apatosaurus. I love the color scheme on this one, so I may keep it and change the blue head stripe color to differentiate males and females.

Overall view.
Hope you guys like them! And FYI, I say this is a preview because the designs may be changed along with colors. We'll see...

That looks great! The way you managed to connect the toes to the foot is really clever. Also check out my Lego creations. |

This looks promising. I really like how you did the feet on the baryonyx. The colors on that one are pretty crazy too. The apatosaurus looks solid too, but I might suggest using some snot tricks to hide or obscure the hinges on the neck, I think that it makes it look more organic.

nice dinos! i would suggest putting the legs closer together on the apatosaurus, and slimming the head a bit on the baryonyx. did you look at pictures and skeletons for this? |
