About this creation
Here's what I'd add to the Star Wars Planets series, Zonama Sekot. It would come with a Yuuzhan Vong warrior in Vonduun crab armour with amphistaff, a micro coralskipper, and the living planet Zonama Sekot.

This is for a contest over on Hothbricks, and I had to re-design my planet as it was too small for their specifications beforehand. Unfortunately, making it larger also made it worse... Ah well.
Thanks for viewing!

Cool idea. I like the little name photoshopped into the image. The addition of the snake is an unexpected delight! Shame about the planet, but it's still better then I could do. Attack! |

Well, if there was ever any doubt that you are a starwars fan, endowed with a deep knowledge of the expanded universe arcana, then this one should banish any such doubts. I really like how you took the popular "box ball" design and made it into a detailed looking planet. I have a build in the back of my mind that needed something like this and so I may some day borrow your idea. (with proper citation of course)
Thanks! Feel free to borrow any of my ideas, it's only LEGO. ;)

It would be awesome if this was a set. There don't seem to be many sets that TLG makes that have commonly known aliens, so that would make this a even better set. |

Great build, Luke. And kudos for pulling out such an obscure race in the Star Wars Universe. The fig looks great. Looks like an aggressive race. I also like the coralskipper. From my city, I discovered the difficulty in micro ships, and this is about as good as I've seen relative to the size. As for the planet, I wish you could have left it the original size as well. Not to say that the updated version looks bad, I just like the original more. Great work as always.
Thanks, and the updated version does look bad, don't fear to critique. ;) |

I abhor the Star Wars storyline after Episode 6; it gets too crazy and weird for my taste. With that being said, this creation is simply fabulous! The use of the Orc minifigure is a perfect match for a Yuuzhan Vong, the planet is well shaped, and the Coralskipper looks terrific! This is sure to get a good score in the contest :)
What?! Prepare to be removed from my favourite builders list. ;) Thanks, I hope so! |
