HEROICA: Game of Thrones - Castle Harrenhall Custom board
About this creation
Game of Thrones - Castle Harrenhall
By Tyrion

First of all pardon my english, im dutch.
This is my first digital creation, though i have the first 5 sets of Heroica.
I created this with oldschool Lego alongside the original Heroica parts, so its easy to recreate or make something similar.

First change i made was to add Mana (the blue cones) to limit the Hero's special ability, cause its way overpowered. So rolling the Heroica shield gives you the choice, use skill and use up 1 mana with it, or just act as if it was a sword.
Mana can be restored ofcourse, ill get back to that in a few seconds.
(Notice the Barbarian has 2 mana, the Wizard has 4)

Notice the big treasure chests?
Think this one is obvious, finding a small one on the board lets you choose one of the big, winning whatever you have put in there, a trophy or a monster or leave it empty..

The Hero's start in the woods, to get onto the shore, which has a passage way towards the potion shop. Potions may be bought here in exchange for 2 gold pieces. 4 potions is all there is. Potions that are found can be sold here, or sold back after purchasing, ofcourse for only just 1 gold.

Cross over the big wooden bridge to enter castle Harrenhall and fight the first goblin warrior defending it!
Behind the bridge is the great hall, which contains a magical fountain.
This is a mana fountain, stand on one of the dark tiles adjecent to it, each turn you decide to skip will add 1 mana to your backpack, up to the max of which your Hero is allowed.

Through the narrow and wobly passage you can reach the castle's armory, which contains only 4 weapons of your own choosing, that can be bought for the cost of 3 gold pieces.
Same as in the potion shop, these 4 only.
I often found myself wandering around playing the original game having almost all weapons
especially if you make the game longer.
Weapons can be sold for 2 gold pieces in return.

The Goblin Commander quarters !
The commander is thougher then your usual goblins and has a health of 2.
after defeating him you can enter his chamber, which contains a desk and a bed!?
Standing on top of it, makes your hero get some sleep and rest. Skip 1 turn to add 1 health.
(Getting on top of the bed is 1 turn, so healing yourself takes another..)

With a key in your pocket you may choose which side to enter the castle's thrones with.
go through the commanders chamber or enter the dining room, where goblins are having their (last) feastmeal :D.
Food can be picked up by standing on the table, and may be eaten at any moment during your turn to get 1 health in return!

Now you can start your way to one of the Thrones, which are sat on by the "Goblin Blood Brothers" after their father was killed in the great war, both brothers fought for the highest position in this realm, but none succeeded in overthrowing the other, so they rule apart from each other!

In order to win this, you need to kill both the brothers!
Both have a health of 3, so it will be a fierce battle.
The Hero that kills the last standing brother wins the relic, you chose before starting.
(this is quite fun in the gameplay if 2 hero's start battling with the brothers at the same time)

I see a lot of people making custom builds, which is great but some look huge, or bold.
I tried to mind the developers style, and keep things small. Less is more.
Let the imagination put the rest in.
I only changed a bit on the original rules, to improve gameplay.
Changing them completely id be better off playing something else wouldnt I?

Any suggestions or tips are very welcome!
