Hair-style cars
Cars #21 and #22 for the Mega-MOC.
About this creation
After almost 2 months without any new vehicles, I´m back with a famous couple of movie-cars!
It´s quite obvious where they are from, so no extra points for naming the movie...

First off, the 1948 Ford De Luxe, also called "White Lightning" in the movie. Driven by the good guys, the "Greasers";

Second, the 1949 Ford Mercury. The bad guys, called "The Scorpions";

Quoting Nils O. P.S.: So, what's next? I'm just thinking about two similar cars from another movie, a yellow and a black one... (The movie is from this guy who made six movies from a galaxy far, far away...)
Well, I´m not planning to do any cars from American Grafitti, although I do have a similar inpired hot-rod ready. Also, one other car is in the works. 1 or 2 trucks will be added too, and then that´s it. The count will stop at 25 or 26.

Quoting Trevor Young I'm wondering, On the '48, what part did you use for the rear curve? Can't really tell.
http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=61487 I think it may be the first time ever, I´ve been able to use this part...

Both are wonderful, the details stunning as usual. My favourite aspect is the way you did the windscreen frames to get an unexpected angle there. The stickers work very well here, too.

Unless I'm mistaken, doesn't the scorpion guys jacket cuff get caught on the door handle right before he drives off a cliff? As always, these cars are unbelievable (or maybe better to say: Totally believable!). Attack!
