Hey every one, long time no see. First off im really sorry for being so inactive the last little bit. I've just been buried with other stuff like football and homework. Now, onto the moc! This is thing is one of my absolute favorites. it weighs about 5lbs regularly and about 8 or 9 with full counter weights. It has two winches each powered by a M motor.
I put a lot of work into this, especially internally. Thanks guys, i hope you enjoy!

Jon, I've been away for a bit, but I am sorry I missed this! I love these machines, down in the Salt Lake valley, a few years back they came through with a new Freeway, "Legacy Park" and it was littered with these installing all kinds of cabling. Fantastic realism, and function, Chris |

An excellent MOC, strongly built and filled with functions yet it looks just like the real-life version. The photos with the mini-fig give the crane a sense of grand scale. The video is really needed with this MOC to the functions at work. I did have to do a bit of Googling to discover why the crane is the shape it is. Here's the best information I found: http://www.cat.com/equipment/pipelayers
Thanks! and yes, thats exactly what i used to model it! |

Wonderful MOC here, Jon! It's great to see you're back, and I totally know the feeling of being overwhelmed with schoolwork. Heck, it's happening to me right now! Anyway, this MOC is a true piece of engineering. I love how you integrated the counterweights, and that winch is really strong! Also, it's amazing how steep of a hill it can climb. All in all, this for sure makes the 1/0 mark! ;)
thanks Fritz! ill be lookin forward to your builds! |

Awesome work : ) I used to have a little metal one toy of these and I soon as I saw the thumbnail I was like 'I used to have that!!'. It looks great, it functions great and the presentation is great. Can't be anything less than a prefect score then : ) 10/10 |

Jon! It's amazing! This is WAY better than the one that I made. The counter weight is great. I like the lifting power of the winches. It looks like it has great climbing power too. Lifting hood is a added bonus. 1/0 ;) I think it's one of your best yet!
Thanks George! |

I was the first to comment on it but it hasn't showed up yet... anyway, this is awesome, and huge, I like the caution stripes up front, are those decals? if so how did you make them, I could use custom decals for my pneumatic Peterbilt 379 which is under way and about 20 % done!!!!! INFINITY/1 ~Ma$on Mc]{echn!e~
Thanks mason! well there home made decals haha. ok so what i did was i found a stripe pattern on google images, then i printed it. i carefully cut out the shape needed, tracing it on the back side of the paper. then i took some of my moms double sided scrap booking tape and applied it to the plastic. And WHAMMO there ya go, custom decals. you could use normal tape but i just wouldnt look as good. Good luck! |
