When up against it, holster your blaster and saddle up your rhino. No one is going to get in your way.

Fantastic, David! I rank this build up with your 50-piece squirrel for accuracy. The snout, although maybe a tad exaggerated, is my favorite part. This may be the best girl in a striped shirt, riding a rhino with a blaster in her hand build of all time, and that is saying something;) What gave me the biggest smile is the reference, (intentional or not), to Stieg Larsson. So we have, The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, The Girl Who Played With Fire, The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest, and The Girl Who Wouldn't Give Up. It just fits. Even the fig resembles what I would think Lisbeth would look like. I wonder how that book would read.
The exaggerated head was a design decision, all part of this MOCs blunt metaphor.

The rhino is quite cute. His head is a bit big, but he is cute as the dickens. Well done David. :) |

Nice rhino! (You don't get to say that every day!) A wonderful idea, reminiscent of Lyra riding on the bear in Northern Lights. I like the way that the legs are all hinged and that you didn't forget the tail :)
Hadn't thought of the Lyra reference, but I like it. |

If she can tame a rhino she's not to be messed with. Nice build!
Sometimes you need that level of artillery. |

I love this rhino as much as several of the elephant builds that others have done! David, in view of your other build referencing the Bronte sisters, and in view that I too, have one of those kind of minds that connects obscure stuff to other obsure stuff, is there found here a reference to the play RHINOCEROS by Eugene Ionesco? :)
Well I do work in a Theatre Dpartment ;). It is alo a MOC for my wife. |
