About this creation

The 908 originally was a closed coupe to provide low drag at fast tracks, but from 1969 on was mainly raced as the 908/2, a lighter open spyder.

I do not know what I love the most: the inside tray? The engine? The brilliant idea for the opening doors? The details? The fact you introduced (so well) a maxifig? Maybe all of this. Beau-ti-ful!

What attention to detail! I love the driver's seat and the engine is so accurate. The doors are brilliant! I know it's so simple, but what really impressed me was that you put the attention into making sure there are low and high beams. Stellar!

The tread on those tyres could almost make it the Targa Florio variant of the 908... Fortunately, I know that Steve's example was a track car. Once again, you have pulled off a remarkable build. As usual I am impressed. Keep up the good work!

Great car. How you manage to get so many details into all your vehicles. Can't wait to see the finished Porsche museum. I hope it includes a RS Spyder evo, one of my favorite LMP vehicles.

Wow, that's awesome. Design, functions and details are brilliant as usual! There is some very cool SNOT work and parts usage here and there. My favourite details are the door hinges, the air filters and the rear wings. Great job! :-))

Quoting TheLegoNoitAll . how long does it take you to come up with all these complicated technics? how long do you spend studying the car first?
a few minutes. sometimes many hours :-)

Quoting Robbie Trengove Man that's awesome! I know the body of the car seems simple but far from it. There are so many cool details. I love the cockpit, the way the doors open (a bit like the new McClaren?) even the small roll bar behind the driver and tubular chassis around the engine. Exquisite attention to detail. And I also like how you used 1x1 tiles for the Porsche logo and not stickers. If this was a Lego set for sale then I would definately buy it. And I'd really like to know where you got/how you made the driver.

Quoting Henrik Hoexbroe Fantastic! So many NPU´s! I get the feeling that this one is a couple of studs less wide than the others, but I suppose I am wrong¿?
It is slightly smaller (14W).

Quoting DeTomaso Pantera Another stunning piece of craftmanship Malte! I will get round to building one of these one day. I still have two spaces free in the Transporter lol It's a shame LEGO don't produce proper slicks, the tyres here are the right size but the tread makes them look a little odd.
yes
Quoting DeTomaso Pantera Love the snot writing on the side, those 1x1 text tiles must have set you back a bit. I remember how much they cost me for just two lots of JAH1L.
13,- EUR http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?G=850425
Quoting DeTomaso Pantera Keep up the fantastic work, I'm always excited to see what you build. Tomaso

A simpler shape than many of your cars, and yet it's still one of the most complex vehicle MOCs on this site. The engine and suspension detailing is incredible. Probably one of your easier builds (I don't think it even employs the 'Malte Dorowski flex-grip technique'!), but it's one of my favourites. 10/10

This is a fantastic build! @Marin Stipkovic: Not trying to be mean but what's the point of going to the trouble of including so much detail and then skimp out on functional steering?

I don't see the point of "functional" steering if the wheels don't have room enough to rotate... Other than that it's great!

The details on the engine are phenomenal, and so is the interior. I mean, when's the last time I saw a tank under the door? Never, that's when, and leave it to you to go the extra mile, and then go even further.
