Carter was once a scientist that had a sky lair that he created from his weather machine. His lair also had a defensive mechanism that turned his entire place intangible, therefore having the most perfectly hidden base in all of his world. But then one unfortunate day a shadow storm and a light storm came into collision right where Carter's base was and the lightning from both clouds attracted to his lair and he was stricken by lightning. Because of the positive and negative energies transformed him into a toa and changed his brain at the same time. He now travels with his red brother judicium and fights like a true and honorable warrior. He was a mad scientist that experimented on live things, so he was sort of evil.
