A simple project I was given at work.

About this creation

Hi All,

About a month ago I was asked by the Operations Manager to build a model of a machine that he is wanting to have installed over the Christmas shut down period. There aren't many functions on it, although the two bin lifts automatically tilt the bin upside down once they reach the top. I was told the most important thing to do was get the main shape of each item so that the process improvement could be explained to the board of directors, and as a result, the funding for the machine could be approved.

It was a huge success! There is talk amongst the directors for me to do a full factory layout at some stage. I would have to pick the scale and start working on some automated robotic function just to give it the 'WOW' factor. Fingers crossed they decide its a good investment for future improvement planing.

Sorry all, I have been quite quiet these past few months. My goal was to have a bit of time-out before the MOCO's start. I'm still not sure if I'm psyched enough yet, but hopefully by tomorrow I will be haha! Hope you all enjoyed it, its a bit different to trees and castle, with enough imagination it could be a castle though :)

Quoting Leda Kat =^..^= I keep suggesting to my boss I could build him new equipment and rackings and such at work but he laughs at me... oh well. Great to be able to get some outside of the Lego world recognition for your skills.

I'm sure He'd appreciate the effort to make some scale shelving and a little pimped out fork-hoist lifting dark tan boxes. Would be a cool project :)
