Bethany: Truly The End
A group of survivors living in a compound located in Bethany, Oklahoma.
About this creation

This took a REALLY long time to make, so enjoy!

Eric lead the last remaining human (that was outside the compound) to the gate.

The man was not a rookie, that was for sure.

Eric typed in the password.

They waited for the doors to open.

A few seconds passed, then the doors slid open. They reacted faster when opened from the inside.

The entered the first gate.

The door slid closed behind them.

Soon after, the next one opened.

They stepped into the next room. The process seemed tedious, but security was essential.

The doors slid closed behind them, yet again.

The next door opened.

They then entered into a court-yard.

"There used to be seven billion of us," Eric said, as he came to a stop. "Now there are seven."

"That's a somber thought," Tom said, not looking away from the TV as he did, despite the fact that he had seen "I am Legend" over 11 times.

(WORDS SWITCH TO ABOVE THE PICTURES)

There compound was stalked with food.

Weapons as well.

At one point there had been vegetables, but now it was just a patch of dirt.

Two other humans sat and chatted at a table.

There was a large tower in the middle of the compound. It was obvious that the compound used to be a prison of some type.

An older man stood at the top, holding a sniper rifle.

A woman stood at the top of the far gate, looking out for any signs of trouble.

"Tom! Meet the last of one; Caleb," Eric said.

"Wassup."

"Rachel, Zane, meet Caleb."

"Hello."

One would guess that people would be happy to see new humans, but almost everyone had already given up hope.

"And meet Linda."

"Who was she? What happened?" Caleb asked.

"A few years back, some zombies got all the way into the second chamber..."

"It was me and Linda, but they had to close the gate to keep them from getting farther. Linda got trapped with some zombies..."

"She was unarmed too..."

"I was on the other side of the gate. There was nothing I could do."

He said it like he was repeating someone else's words that were spoken to him, not his own.

"Eric!"

"HELP!"

"I'm sorry."

"So what is your story?" asked Eric as they left.

"My story is too long to tell."

End of Chapter 1

Chapter 2

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Rachel screamed, from outside the compound.

Zane's torso was separated from his legs.

Inside the compound, Caleb ran toward the gate.

"We have to let her in!" shouted the girl next to Eric."

Caleb understood immediately. There were zombies outside, but there was also a human. Should they risk letting her in, but endangering the other 5 humans on the planet.

"Fine." Eric said as he punched the button.

The doors slid open, and Rachel ran in.

One of the zombies stood up.

The other stopped devouring Zane.

Then they charged in.

They follow Rachel, closely behind.

"Open the next door!"

"But the other one wont close!" Eric shouted in reply.

"What if it was Linda out there!?"

The next door opened.

Soon, the last door opened.

Rachel ran into the compound, screaming.

Eric took the first shot.

Tom and the old man got into position.

The first zombie went down, and Eric turned to run.

Caleb fired his pistol.

Another zombie fell. The zombies began to come after him.

He took another shot.

Another went down. He drew his sword as the last approached.

He then sliced it's head off.

"Relax guys. I got em all!"

"Guys?"

A zombie tackled him from behind,

He pushed him off.

He shot it in the head.

But he was soon overwhelmed.

The girl who had been hiding before jumped on a four-wheeler.

She knocked over a zombie as she tried to drive out of the compound.

But one jumped on the hood...

And pushed her off. She died right beside Caleb.

Rachel ran to the other gate, near Tom.

Eric ran to the tower.

The old man remained where he was.

Eric felt like a coward, but he wasn't ready to die yet.

3 zombies ran toward Rachel and Tom as Rachel, panicked, tried to unlock the doors.

Tom fired his gun.

One zombie went down, the other two continued to approach.

He fired twice more, kill yet another two.

But two flanked him, and infected him.

Rachel was terrified. A zombie stood right in front of her. She could not think. She could not think to use her gun. Fear was all she felt.

Two hours later

Eric sat alone in the tower. Almost everyone was dead. The world was ending, and it was his fault. His fault for letting Zane and Rachel have their little walks. His fault for opening the door. His fault for the machine malfunction. His fault for running. The weight of the world was on his shoulders.

He stood up.

"Eric!" the old man called. "I am out of ammunition. We can fight them. We must run.

"I am stuck here!" Eric replied.

Zombies waited bellow. Not smart enough to climb the ladder, the waited for him to come down.

They would wait until he came, or until they died.

"Jump!"

Two zombies waited bellow the old man.

Eric considered it. He had already lost the world, what was there to lose?

He began to climb to the top of the tower.

He stood.

"Do it!"

As if the zombies understood what was going to happen, they moved to where the old man was.

Then, Eric jumped.

He sailed toward the old man.

The old man caught him by the hands.

But the weight was too much.

The last two humans fell to their deaths.

The world did not cease to exist, humans ceased to exist on it. Some say the world would be more peaceful without humans, but no human will live to see if it is true.

Fourth Wall

I know that was not what you expected. I was just tired of these end of the world movies where people still survive. Not in this one! This took a REALLY REALLY long time, so PLEASE rate, comment, show your friends, whatever. I would REALLY like to see this become my most popular creation.

God bless!

Aww, I was expecting a creepy story about a little girl named Bethany... :P This is great though, I love the lighting in some of the pics towards the beginning, I wish you would have kept that through out the whole thing. Also, I'd love to see some more short stories from you.

Quoting The Timinater ! bro, not cool deleting comments that aren't 'liking' it. If it deserves likes, it will get them. what I'd like from you, is some builds, rather than stories.
"Bro", I deleted it because you keep taking it off the homepage with your non rated comments. And look, I reply to them so they aren't gone forever, like this one.

Good job. But I didn't like how sudden some of the deaths were.

'blinks' Wow. You weren't kidding about it being a short series, were you? Thank you for actually making an end of the world story instead of an ending of the world story. Not that those stories aren't bad.

Quoting Christian Collins Well, yeah, that is what would happen! The concept of them actually surviving is a not a sound one. I noticed a few errors in spelling, and the switch from having the dialog on the bottom of the pictures to the top was, unnecessary. Other that that good job!
Yeah, I messed up on it, didn't want to re-do
