Well here it is... yet another Star Destroyer. After my latest project failed miserably (the Executor), I felt a bit like a failure. This happened when i was trying to put the superstructure of the ship on a pedestal to have acces on al all sides of the ship. What happened was that the superstructure collapsed and fell down in thousands of pieces... guess it wasn't that super at all. Since I started again with Lego, I noticed that my skills weren't that good like they used too be. After a few weeks I was looking for a new project to start with. I fancied a Star Destroyer, but after the mentioned failure a needed some guidance to building one. Since I don't have not much experience in building large MOC's,I browsed the internet for ideas. Then the original Lego Star Destroyer turned up. Like many of us I always liked this one, but it was too pricy for me. I looked up the parts list and figured out I had all the parts to build one myself (well sort of) But rather then building one like all the others,i wanted to make this one unique. So I came up with this. It's still a work in progress, but here are some pics to show you what it will look like. Please rate and comment! Suggestions on how to improve this even further are also welcome. The better this one turns out, the better the next one will be.

One of the legs to my Armageddon Walker fell off of it's table and shattered. It was a pain to put the thing back together and that was a mere fraction of the size of what you were building. I can't imagine what that was like. Anyhow, this is a great build. I love the creativity of the dark red in the front like that. That middle-of-the-paint-job look is right on. Very well done.

Thx, yeah it was a very nasty crash. Since than a figured out how to build a strong frame to build upon so that it hopefully won't happen again. I already started on a wooden arm (like you see on many large moc's) since I'm thinking about to take the Errant venture to the next level. I stil need a lot of the dark red though but I like the way it's looking for now. First I did it with regular red, but it didn't came out to good with the light grey. The dark red looks spot on. Since you might have read, I like big moc's where you can fit minifigs or small sets inside and that's what I gonna do with this one. It needs to be at least twice as big so watch this space ;)

I might do it all red when I have the right amount of dark red bricks. I first did it in regular red but it didn't came out so good with the grey. For now I leave it like this where it get's it's paintjob. I plan to make it even bigger so this is just practice. The Wild Karrde needs some little work too. Thx for the comment ;)
