Shellshock was sent to earth during WWII, his protoform crash landed in France, days after the landing at Normandy. His memory chip was badly damaged in the crash, this made him forget almost everything about his quest to find Megatron and the allspark. The war made him a seasoned veteran, fighting with a squad of American troops against the Nazis, he managed not to show his true form. He also got very attached to his alternate vehicle, which he didn't change to this day.
I've been building this for almost 2 months now, and it's taken up most of my time and nerves. The transformation, although not so complicated theoretically, is very complex due to the small shifting parts and my desire to make it look as movie-ish as possible (as in the busy-junkyard look the transformers had in the movie), also I wanted to make the alternate model look realistic and detailed.I've been asked before, and wanted to make this clear, the model really transforms, it does not achieve this through dismantling. Thanks for watching :) .
This looks legit. Allthough due to some technical malfunction, I cannot see the photos, which is very unfourtunate. However from what I can see, this looks like an incredible example of the transformers genre.
That is the best m3 halftrack i have seen! and it can transform! AHHHHH That is awesome! I have been trying to build an M3 halftrack but you have just kicked my butt! and it can transform! THIS DEFINITELY DESERVED MOC OF THE DAY!
Wow, a nice bit of history on the moc, and amazing work! I love all the detail you've put in, and everything is about perfect. Imagine, a Decepticon helping Allies win the war against the Axis powers....I somehow find that ironic.
This is by far the coolest moc on mocpages!!
I was so amazed when I first saw this that I was inspired to build my newest moc: Decepticon Shrapnel. I would be honored if you would look at it! Thanks! http://mocpages.com/moc.php/161763
I can't remember if I've already commented on this, but it surely deserves another. I love looking at Shellshock. The pure amount of detail, realism, and movie-like busyness give me enough to look at for hours. I have used this model as a starting point for my own Lego Transformers, and I gave you credit for that inspiration. This is amazing.
Man I love this one
you really captured the look of the movies man, outstanding job :-) looks just like if you where recreating an existing Dec.
what would make it even better is if you would provide us with some transformation-phase pictures to make it more... vivid
SICK!!! I can't even begin to marvel at the thought processes you must've gone through to do this. A replica transformer is an achievement on it's own. One that ACTUALLY TRANSFORMS is worthy of a Nobel prize! You're a freak'n beast at legos man! Awesome design.
WOW! Es increible tu creación, dada la capacidad de transformarse y su apariencia en ambos estados. Me podrias enviar los pasos para crear a Shellshock?
WOW! Your creation is incredible, given the aptitude to transform and his appearance in both conditions(states). Can you send me the steps to create Shellshock?
Wow! You sure achieved your goal eh? You're point about dismanteling is true. I have a TransforMOC myself, but you have to remove the wheels and the back part to allow it to transform. Though I stuck to the old, blocky style look. Check it out, it okay. But yours is by far the best! Good job!
This is easily one of the greatest transformer creations out on the net, possibly the world. If anything, send this to Michael Bay. Right now. Shellshock could make an appearance in the sequel. That's how good this is.
Wow, when I first saw the first pic of it I thought it was a picture of the toy, not the LEGO! That is SPECTACULAR! I need some tips on how to make Transformers, if you don't mind sending me some. Thanks.
Owwww! My eyes! I have been blinded by the unprecedented perfection of this gallery-grade masterpiece! It looks like you reached into the movie screen and pulled this guy out. Best transforming MOC ever.
uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... i dunno what to say... FRIKIN AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have seen transforming LEGO MOCs before, but this is probably the coolest one! Ozzy the Voltrain was my favorite transforming MOC - but Shellshock is the official NUMBER ONE now. Period. (Here is Ozzy: : http://www.brickfrenzy.com/index.php?m=ozzy)
AMAZING!! I still can't believe that transforms. That is intense. The robot mode looks like something from the movie, and it has articulation. Nice. The vehicle mode reminds me of the comic series where the Transformers were in WW2, Hearts of Steel, I think. I remember how thrilled I was to build my transforming Optimus, but my model doesn't hold a candle to yours. Just awesome. I hope to see more Transformers from you.
My God, this is amazing. The only thing I can find to gripe about is the lack of grey on the upper body, but the overall model is so impressive that I can't bring myself to deduct a star. Keep on building man, this is by far the one most awesome transformer I've seen on the internet.
This is by far the best Lego transfomer I've ever seen. It looks great in both modes and the starting form is original as well since it's a rarely seen vehicle in the first place. Hats off to you for making this great MOC.
