WIP: Space Base #5
Space Base layout
About this creation
Start with a Sun and move on out
The future's in the skies above.

This is actually a space base construction site, so watch your back and keep your helmet on or the government (OSHA) will fine me!

No, the doors don't open on the construction shack. Yes, the funky trans-smoke panels are solar collectors. The little white flyers are actually Magno-Cranes (patent pending) that lift heavy metal objects like the moonbase's permanent structual supports by -- ta da! -- magnetic force.

Space: It's hard out there for a chimp.

The auto-hauler (patent pending) carries materials from the stockyard (or crash site) to the construction zone. Since the CSA (Classic Space Agency -- not Confederate States of America) is trying to establish a number of outposts here on the bare surface of Princharry, we just ask you to remember that what happens here, stays here. Unless it's photographed for the Daily Mail, that is.

To be displayed at Brickworld Fort Wayne later this month. No, it's not moonbase standard. Didn't I just say it was ripped off?

Why a rocket? I like rockets!

Quoting Leda Kat =^..^= Wonderful classic space feel. It looks like a busy little construction site. You'll need to put a hot chick walking past that the boys can wolf whistle at.
I don't have a Leda Face yet, but she'd probably mop the floor with these rubes anyway!

Great feel of construction by module throughout the base. More than most I'm easily pleased by a classic space build - and when its looking this good who could argue.

Cool stuff. I think I'm too young to be allowed to build classic space. Oh well.

That's some rocket you've got there, Dennis! I especially like the main building, even though you say the doors don't open. But you can still make the "shhhh" sound, right?
