I'm guessing your perception is due to your eye focusing on the angular parts of her shaping! Anyhoo, you both hit on both aspects of her shaping and character! And of course, the whole build/story/etc is just pure absurdity! :)

Thanks, I really have been wanting to make something with trans neon orange. I used a few pieces of it when I built my entry to Mr. Xenomurphy's recent contest. I realized at that time that a certain type of lighting situation could make the neon pieces have a bit of a glowing appearance. I tried to recreate that 'glowing' again with this build. :)

I'm guessing you think of her as cute, because your eye is focusing on the few curves in her shaping. I once saw a documentary of Walt Disney comparing curvey Mickey Mouse with his other early mouse character, Mortimer who was drawn with more angles and was thinner. Disney was discussing how the degree of curveness related to how people reacted to or felt about the cartoon character. It's why we humans view puppies as cute. Interesting isn't it?! Glad you like her sweeter side! :)

A very interesting Alien, it has a great use of the Ultimate Dume-mask and the trans neon orange Kaukau! His poseability is also pretty cool, I liked the pic with the technic dudes :D

I love her light reddish look, you did a great job on the head as well. You should really make a Smaug Bionicle figure in a similar design! AWESOME!
