The Battle of the Greenfields
During a large war with the goblins, the Dunadan defended The Shire from large hordes of goblin raiders. But, unfortunately, a small army led by the goblin general Golfimbul slipped through, and attacked The Shire at the Greenfields. Bandobras "Bullroarer" Took led a small but stalwart group of hobbits to defend the Shire from the encroaching goblins.
About this creation
(Above) Bandobras was an unusually large hobbit, tall enough to ride a horse. He charged into the battlefield, armed with a club, on horseback.

A stalwart hobbit archer faces the goblins.

Armed with an axe, Golfimbul defends against Bullroarer's startling raid.

Another goblin charges.

The famous rabbit hole.

The whole build.

The hobbit archer, and the Bullroarer.

The goblins.

For those of you who haven't heard the rest of the story, Bandobras then struck off Golfimbuls head, which flew and then rolled into a rabbit hole. Golfimbul, golf...... Get it?

The hobbits victorious.

After commentary-

This was a fun build to do, and although I could have made this bigger, I decided that I could make a better scene if I kept it small. I chose this scene because it is a fairly obscure scene, so I could be farely sure that no one had ever done it in LEGO before. Also, Bullroarer happens to be one of my favourite hobbits besides the fellowship, and I love this example of Tolkiens "punny" sense of humor. Anyway, here's the required link for the LOTR contest, ; CLICK RIGHT HERE
, and there we go! Ta da!

Great build. This was always one of my favorite stories from Tolkien; quite humorous.

The build is pretty meh, I like the figs though, and kudos for doing a rarer story. 5/10

I love that hobbit tale from the Hobbit! Nice little MOC, as well as the minifigs. I also like the tree design, but overall the MOC should be more detailed. 6.5/10

so I'm a harsh judge, ok. quite an average build, the tree is simple, yet some would say effective. lacking of details, and any wow factor. 5/10

Quoting Tyler Halliwell The story is represented really well, and although the pictures are not the best, the battle is shown successfully.
OK, just sayin, I don't have a good camera, I don't remember him saying that picture quality had anything to do with the score, and my pictures were better than many peoples. I at least have clear pictures. I am accepting my score, but I think you could have given me something much better.
